Really appreciate that you are providing the contacts for your excursions and love your sharing a bit on each port city. This will help in planning our future cruise. And of course, DITTO, your photos are beautiful!

Does anyone have any comments on this room? Is it above the Main Theatre or further forward? Any idea what's the empty space nearby used for? We're booked on the Liberty but I'm assuming that any Conquest class ship would have the same layout?
thanks for any info you can provide!

We've booked the same room for an October cruise. Did you travel yet? How was the room? Hope you enjoyed your cruise!

Thanks for the review. We're booked on the Liberty in October. Living in Houston area, it seems like a great opportunity for a quick get away.

Our family has been on ultimate cruises and my kids get stacks of $1 bills to tip for room service whenever they want! It's their favorite dining on the boat!

Certainly, he normally drinks a 12 and splurges on an 18. Hasn't found a "special enough" occasion to open the 25 yet!

Great --- thanks for your input, we're scheduled on the CB in Oct. While in Houston we toured the CB and noticed that the lines for the Horizon Court for lunch on embarkation were ridiculously long. Was that the case for you also? Wondering what other dining options are available during embarkation?
Also what was our opinion of the atmosphere on the lounges at night? What were the hotspots, types of music, etc?

Is a wine bottle opener available in the room?

We sail on the CB end of October and there are no shore excursions listed under the "my Princess" . Wondering when the shore excursions will show as available?

He was quite excited to receive a bottle of Macallan 25 for Christmas!

On the topic of synthetic eggs --- we avoid them! On Carnival, the omelet station will prepare eggs to order. Just ask for scrambled eggs and you can watch the chef crack fresh eggs!
Enjoying your review!

Is Macallan Scotch served onboard the Caribbean Princess? My hubby is very particular about the scotch he drinks!

Loving the review. Wondering if you will be sponsoring a "cruise with Gambee" soon? If so, please make sure there's rooms for solo cruisers!

Tomorrow we will be on the CB for about 4 hours for the Bon Voyage Experience. If anyone has any questions that they'd like me to ask or specific photos to take. I won't be able to do cabins but can do the common areas just ask.
I'll try to give a review this weekend of the BVE.

Bon Voyage Experience. On certain princess ships, you can pay $39 this allows you to tour the ship, have lunch with wine in the main dining room and a souvenir photo on the day of embarkation. Boarding around 11:00 and then off about 3:30.

Great! Hubby and I will want to tour the ship and enjoy the MDR. Our two daughters, who are home from college, will prefer to just grab a quick bite and then find a spot by the pool.

What lunch options are available on Embarkation? Doing the BVE and since we're only onboard for a short time, we don't want to spend time in long lines or receive slow service.

Loving your review! We've cruised many times with Carnival and this fall will be our first cruise on Caribbean Princess. So I appreciated the photos of that ship.

Another option is paradise beach in Cozumel. $3 for beach chair $15 if you want to use the inflatables. Food and drink are extra. Very nice bathrooms and changing areas. Also they collect school supplies for local families! We always drop off a backpack when we visit. Just take a taxi and there are plenty taxis waiting to take you back.

We specifically booked on upcoming cruise on the Caribbean Princess because there was no formal night. It seems that you can find a cruise ship that fits personal cruise preferences.
