Depends on which aft you have. What is the cabin number? The corner afts on Freedom are smaller than other afts especially on deck 9.

We changed from D to D+ on a B2B. We went to loyalty ambassador on first cruise and she changed it. When we got our seapass cards, they said D. So we went to guest services and they reissued cards as D+. Evidently cards are made up prior to cruise.

We returned our towels at a towel station on CocoCay. They charged us for the towels. Contacted them and the charge was removed. Won’t return them anywhere but on the ship in the future. Charge didn’t show on our final bill. It was added later. CocoCay was our last port.

We are on this ship as well. Have not been on Symphony before but have been on sister ships, Allure, Oasis and Harmony several times.

First Royal cruise. Hear so many wonderful things. Any input/suggestions, etc. would be wonderful. Just started booking process today so not sure about room, etc. Would really like to hear from anyone booked on this cruise or who has been on this ship. All responses would be great!!! Looking forward to meeting new people and having an amazing time.

Don’t get on deck 7. You can’t get from one side from the other due to the hang down for the boardwalk.

We were on the Serenade for two cruises in January. The first cruise was the old menu. The second cruise had the new menu. We did not like the new menu at all. We are very plain eaters and had trouble finding something we liked. I would suggest looking at the menu in the app and then decide which night to go to Chops.

We were on the Jewel in December 2022 and Serenade January 2023. I only remember a few differences. Jewel had the CocoCola freestyle machines in WJ and Serenade did not. Also the loyalty ambassador offices were in different places. The pub on the Jewel had a bigger bar, the pub bar on serenade was smaller but had more seating space.

I have been on 12 RCI cruises this year and they have all boarded Diamond+ and Diamonds right after boarding Pinnacles.
That has been my experience as well on 3 cruises this year out of Port Canaveral. T1 & T5. -

I checked in this morning at 8am for our 12/3 Jewel cruise and picked 1030 to 11am. We are only 25 min from PortvCanaveral so works perfectly.

We are on that cruise as well. Checked in yesterday. -

Hello all! Hopefully headed out on Allure this Saturday for Mom’s 90th birthday cruise and have a stop in Labadee. She can go a little ways with her rolater, but can’t really get along in the sand and definitely can’t go the whole length of the pier. Any advice as to how and where to get her situated in a beachy spot, close to restroom and food facilities? And preferably a bar for me? 😁 TIA!
They have sand chairs at Labadee. Also, people at the pier with wheelchairs.

Be sure to turn on WiFi calling prior to the cruise. We have iPhones and use the phone for texts, email and phone calls on the ship.

My DH and I are going on the Jewel in December. First cruise 2019! Any information that you can give me about the Jewel is greatly appreciated. Any information on what to expect in port (cape Canaveral) is appreciated. Yes, to vaccinated & boosted. We’ve been to Cape Canaveral many times…. Just never been on a cruise from there 😉
We are also on the Jewel for 2 cruises in December. December 3 and 9.. You might want to join our roll call. Have cruised out of Port Canaveral many times. What do you want to know? -
We did a B2B on Mariner in May. The second cruise was to Bermuda. Royal did the test for us.

Our second leg of a May cruise went to Bermuda. At that time there was no testing for 2nd leg of B2B. We were told that everyone on the ship had to have a negative Covid test.

Some of the trams can accommodate a scooter but some cannot. You may have to wait for the appropriate one.

Some ships provide a nice back to back luncheon. Mariner (May/June ) had a nice lunch. Harmony does not provide any back to back lunch.

We had back to back lunch on Harmony in January.

I have issues walking. These ships are so big. I have tried wheelchair, walker and scooters. I got a combination walker and transport chair from Amazon. I walk most of the time but when I get tired, my husband pushes me in the chair. This combination chair works great for me. It converts real easily.

I booked an accessible cabin. I was able to book it but then was sent several pages to fill out and send to Royal to be sure that I qualified. I decided not to go through that and moved to a different cabin. So yes, they do have you verify that you need the accessible cabin,

Freedom Aft balcony…second guessing myself

Ok. We had 1400 on Freedom a few years ago and loved it. We like aft cabins a lot. 1400 was not like the picture that was posted with two loungers, two chairs and table. It was smaller.
