  1. Here is the link to my review of my cruise to Cuba on the Sky June 4-8: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2644446

Is there a limit to the drinks you can have per day? There weren't for us. However, they reserve the right not to serve you if you seem intoxicated.

    - What type (brands) of liquor are included? This was answered above.

    - What type (brands) of wine are included? I avoided the wine (I am an admitted wine snob). However, the champagne in the Plantation Lounge was awesome.

    - Are sodas and bottled water included? Soda yes, bottled water no. I took a yeti and filled it myself.

    - What about coffees? There is regular and decaf included. It was fine. I didn't even look at specialty coffees.

    Thanks Jenny!

I forget that when I say "coffee" I mean espresso. I'm a Miamian so Cuban coffee is vital! LOL

  2. No limit on the number of drinks but the bartenders will cut off those who are totally wasted.

The DSC is higher than on other NCL cruises. $19.99 for most, $22.99 for suites.

Bottled water is not included. Soda from the gun is included.

Regular coffee is included but "specialty" coffee is not. If you are creative, order a regular coffee and a shot then combine them yourself.;)

Beautiful! :) Thanks for your reply!

  3. Hi everyone! I'm a frequent cruiser but this will be my first time on NCL!

I have been looking for posts re: the open bar on the 3 day sailings from Miami on the Sky but I'm not finding anything recent.

Can any of you provide a little info as to how this works...

  4. Hi all! :)

Has anyone had any experience bringing a beach umbrella on the ship (for use ONLY ashore)?? I was wondering if port security or the ship's staff would have an issue with it?

Again, obviously we would only be using it off the ship... I'm not trying to use it on the lido deck LOL

    Thanks!

  5. It's called Decleor Paris Circulagel. It's actually for improving circulation in the legs and it's very expensive, but just a tiny bit of it will suck the heat right out of a sunburn. We've been using it for years and are very miserly with it (someone's gotta have a bonafide burn to get to use it, none of this "just a little pink" stuff :')).

Awesome! I see what you mean about a bonafide burn--it's not as cheap as aloe gel lol... Thank you!! :)

  6. Hi all! Help me decide! We are on the Jewel in March and wanted to do a nice (delicious) dinner for our anniversary. I currently have reservations made for Chops Grille but I've seen both good and bad about it.

Would you opt for Chops or Giovanni's?

Just some background -- we've never done either restaurant and are huge fans of the Carnival Steakhouses. A great steak is what we are mostly after. :D

    Thanks!

  7. Hi everyone! I don't have too much experience sailing on RC...my most recent sailing was on the Oasis.

I'm now booked on the Jewel for next March and I see that it is quite different from the Oasis. I'm sure I will have plenty of questions in the months to come but for now... Two questions are on my mind:

    1. Do we need to make show (we do comedy shows mostly) reservations online before sailing as we did for the Oasis?

    2. Simple [& important one] -- Is there a Johnny Rockets onboard? ;p

    Thanks everyone!
