  1. I'm sorry I don't have any information for future trips after it docks tomorrow .. I doubt it will cancel any sailings .. The information that guest services is giving out to back to backers is that they will have engineers and mechanics ready when they dock and they hope to have the problem fixed before they depart again. At this point nobody is discussing what happens if they can't fix it. Yes services has been inundated with people from inside state room at the same credit as other people on the ship as they don't think it's fair that the onboard credit is based on what they paid for their cabin. I have been trying to just enjoy the last day on the ship as the weather's been beautiful and drinks are plentiful and other then the mist Port it has been a fabulous trip:) I will save you hear the ship has slowed down and is now running about a slow as it did yesterday thank goodness for calm waters

  2. We haven't gotten anymore info .. All I know is that appears the ship is going a little faster .. But still slower then normal . We have been assured that we will make it to Fort Lauderdale in time , if not a little early . There is a very long line at guest services where people are asking a lot of questions about future sailing etc as there are back to backers on the ship . People are also complaining about the credit etc .. I am happy with the $250 and won't be complaining . I heard the captain talking to someone and he mentioned 10 knots and something about the engine problem causing a tilt ? The captain has been very available to people's questions ..

  3. From what we've been told they are down an engine (maybe 2) and it means that the ship can only go so fast .. They have engineers meeting the ship in fll to identify the problem .. There are some back to back cruisers on this ship right now and they have been told that "royal Caribbean does not know when it will be fixed at this time "

  4. The tv channel that is suppose to show the ships whereabouts is frozen on an inactive screen .. Still showing the ship at port in Haiti .. If I was in a car it would feel like 5 mph .. I will say .. The staff has been excellent and I feel well taken care of .. Weather is great , food is great , ship is gorgeous , it's just a little unsettling to have engine problems at sea .. We just want to make sure we will make our flights home ( forgive my typing errors I'm doing this on an iPhone with really spotty Wi-Fi coverage that doesn't allow for auto correct)

  5. They have told us very little .. The ship is moving so slowly .. It literally feels like it's stopped ..thank god it's calm seas !! The wifi stinks so I can't pull up its current location .. But I hope we make it back to fll in time !!! A lot of guests are upset with what they offered $200 credit to your acct for a balcony .. And toucan take it as cash if you want , you don't have to spend it on board .. Can somebody tell me where we currently are and if we have enough time to make it back ?

  6. We are currently on the liberty of the seas, February 23rd sailing out of Fort Lauderdale .. Yesterday it was announced that they are experiencing Engine problems and are now at a reduced speed ..because of this reduce speed they had to cancel the port stop in Ocho Rios Jamaica and continue on right to Fort Lauderdale in order to arrive home on Saturday. So a total of 3 sea days and only one port .. For our inconvenience they are issuing a credit to the onboard account an average of $100 for inside state room 200 for balcony. Let's just say there's a lot of unhappy people on board. I just wanted to give some people a heads up in case they were on the next cruise for the ship because it might not be fixed in time
