  1. I cannot believe that some people are upset about the tip increase. $1 a day? Really, this is going directly to the crew. Some people feel as if the cruise line should not charge the tips on there account because they want to be in control. Actually they just want to short tip the crew because they are cheap. The policy is if you prepay the tips before a specific date, then you do not have the pay the increase. Simple. Cannot be clearer.

  2. We are on the Reflection and I did notice all the sugars, jellies, salt & pepper was removed from the tables. It does seem to be less people around the pool today. I have no idea how many people are sick.

Besides that, the cruise has been fantastic. I have no complaints about the food (every meal was really good), I did not have any bad meals and we ate at all of the specialty restaurants.

Staff was also fantastic, always smiling and saying hello.

True the tender line was long, but they did give us notice the day before.

It just shows you that two people can be on the same cruise and have different opinions.

  3. Not to be negative but how does Celebrity know you really had these items. People do make false claims intentionally or unintentionally (not saying you did). If I had a hotel or B&B and a customer claimed something was stolen, I would ask for proof. I am sure you would do the same.

I think that someone else mentioned you should put a claim in with your insurance company and let them handle it.

    Just my thoughts.

  4. I cannot believe all of this complaining about the Luminae - so many of you are sounding like children. I was just on the Summit and the food was fantastic.

The staff knew our names and likes/dislikes by the second day. Every time we went it seemed like we were seeing some friends.

As far as serving lunch, breakfast the website and the staff were perfectly clear. Brunch on sea days and breakfast on port days. Made sense to me, since I would be off the ship for lunch on port days. I am quoting the website directly:

    Insider Tips

Hours and meals served vary by itinerary.

On sea days, open for brunch (11AM–1PM) and dinner.

On port days, open for breakfast and dinner.

Open for lunch at ship's discretion, depending on early or late port arrivals and departures. See daily program

Many fellow suite guests we spoke to had no problems with this. Everyone I spoke to all agreed the food and service were great and we would miss it if we did not book a suite again.
