  1. We are headed back to Belize on another cruise and are having trouble deciding on our excursion.

The weather looks like it will be in the high 80's with scattered thunderstorms and 15mph or so winds.

We are considering: 1) Snorkeling Wonders of the Barrier Reef 2) Sharks, Rays, & Barrier Reef Snorkel or 3) Cave Tubing. When we were in Belize many years ago we did Cave Tubing and enjoyed it. So our group will have a mix of people who have been cave tubing and some who haven't, but none of us have snorkeled in Belize.

My understanding is it's a bit of a long boat ride for the snorkeling, and with that in mind:

With the weather forcast in which would you recommend?

    Thank you!!

  2. We cruise a lot on Princess.

Every time when we cruise Back to Back we exchange 2 coffee cards for the 2nd mini bar set-up.

We have accumulated 16 unmarked new design coffee cards and 6 marked coffee cards. Even though we love cappuccino and special drinks we're accumulating it faster than we can use. Finally I can get rid of some of the cards to each of my family members on our first family cruise on 11/5/17 on Regal. My two grandchild will be so happy to use their cards for gelato.

If you get to the point where you think you have more than you'll need and are interested in possibly selling one I have a cruise coming up in Dec and would be interested in possibly buying it. Feel free to shoot me an email to discuss if you decide to ... ssdcruise@gmail.com

  3. We ended up going with Tiger Tours. It was a fun time but apparently can get a bit wild. While there was quite a bit of time spent snorkeling I wouldn't say it was the primary focus of the tour. El Cielo was really pretty though and Tiger is a character for sure. I'd do it again for sure but I wouldn't go into it with very high expectations for the snorkeling part.

  4. Has anyone done a snorkeling tour with Discovery Cozumel? I can't seem to find much information on them here and there are only few reviews on TripAdvisor. Before I decided to go with them I thought I'd see if anyone has had a good or maybe not so good experience with them.

  5. So I've been really fortunate in the past to find some amazing excursions that really stood out to me when planning my days in ports (Cool Runnings in Barbados, Adventure Antigua, Joe Know's in St Lucia, Bob Cass in St. Martin... come to mind).

I've decided to take a boat trip that takes us to snorkel at Palancar Reef, Columbia Reef, and El Cielo. However I am having a really hard time deciding on which boat trip to take in Cozumel.

I think I've narrowed it down to CozumelCruiseExcursions.net, CozumelFunExcursions.com, Discovery Cozumel, and Tiger Tours.

Which one would get your vote?

  6. Has anyone ever booked on cozumelfunexcursions(dot)com?

I am looking at a tour that goes to Palancar, Columbia, and El Cielo. It looks like this one is on a catamaran too (which is a major plus for us).

There are sooo many company's that have this tour that it's hard to decide. I'll be happy to be with just about any of them if it means being out on the water snorkeling these awesome reefs, drinking a beer, and eating some delicious guac.

  7. I saw the same thing. The Breeze has gotten some really great reviews. If it didn't have by far the least attractive itinerary to me it would have been a no brainer, but the itinerary made it a much tougher choice.

I wish my schedule had more flexibility because the Breeze is doing the Aruba and Curacao itinerary this summer too, but the dates just don't work :(

  8. In June I'm looking to go on my 3rd cruise and my friend will be going on their second. I have loved my previous two cruises while my friend has only taken a 3 day cruise from LA on a smaller boat and was not impressed. I have been to a few island but my friend has never been to the Caribbean so it would all be new to them.

We are trying to decide from the following:

    1) Carnival Valor out of San Juan (7 nights) to St. Thomas, Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, St. Maarten. My thoughts are that I really like this itinerary and although I personally have been to most of the stops (all except St. Kitts, but Barbados and St. Lucia were my favorites yet!). I am concerned however that Valor is older than the other options.

    2) Carnival Freedom out of FL (8 nights) to Grand Turk, La Romana, Aruba, and Curacao. My thoughts on this one are that I haven't been to any of the ports which is a plus, but am not sure that 3 at sea days is the best itinerary for my friends first longer cruise. I do like that Freedom just got done with it's drydock.

    3) Last but not least is Carnival Breeze out of FL (8 nights) to St. Maarten, St. Kitts, San Juan, and Grand Turk. This would be two new islands for me (St. Kitts, and Grand Turk) and Breeze does seem like a really great ship. I don't like that I would only be docked in San Juan from 7am to 2pm and this one too has 3 days at seas.

I have never had such a hard time deciding. They are all essentially the same price when I factor in airfare and everything so that's not much of a factor.

I'd really appreciate your opinions! Thanks :)
