  1. We were there in December.   They have people on bikes with the seats in back ( no idea what they are called) that will ride you to and from the ship for a tip.  Awesome for people like me that have mobility issues.   There was a couple of ships in port so the pool itself was crowded.  Very nice large bar/food venue right at the pool. Plenty of seating covered or in the sun .   Food and drinks were very reasonable and nice place to sit and people watch.  Nice shopping area.

  2. I think the original coconut heads are a collectible now.... Maybe they could be worth $$ on the souvenir market online!!:D:D

There used to a Monkey Head group ( see my signature) on the old CCL forums, but it is gone now, along with the original "real" coconut Monkey Head drinks. (at least I haven't seen one in a long time, maybe some still exist on the ships)

The Original Monkey Head group is still together, just not on CCL boards anymore. We are on that other not allowed to mention social page. Some of us "original" members did a cruise on the Dream in January. Since Tom /Elk Ranger passed away in 2014 a few weeks after the last big MHWC cruise things are not the same. The original monkey head was a real coconut, not plastic.

  3. We had a small sofa that half of it unfolded and they opened that up . The mattress was under the bed and it was basically a piece of foam. You were on the floor. It was horrible. I gave up and just made up the little couch into a bed. I am only 5'1 and it was too short for me. The real couches are comfortable and have slept on them on other ships so I was very surprised how bad these were.

  4. Mike , I hope you do not mind...but I sent a link to your review to John Heald, Senior Cruise Director for Carnival.

Mike do not be offended by his bathroom remark. If you ever read his blog you will know that is always where he is at.

He is going to read it.

John Heald: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1281134. John this is an amazing review of a B2B2B2B on four different ships. Beautiful stories and pictures of all the ships. Too bad everyone can not cruise with their attitude. Imagine having teenagers on all that time, and them actually enjoying it.

  5. AMAZING !!! I have been following your review since the very begining. I do not post while you are still writing as I do not like to add to all the other reading.

What a truly wonderful person you are to share your story with us. I know this takes so many hours just to put up one day's events, let alone a whole month of events. Thank you ,and your family for giving up so much of your time to allow you to post your journey.

As others have stated...I could not wait each day to see what was up next. I loved everything about your story, the way you told it, the pictures, the cliffhanging, and feeling your love for your family.

You know we will all be waiting for the next cruise.... So you have to do another review. :D
