We stock up on our soda at each port. We have never had a problem bringing it onboard.

We will be on the cruise with you!

I understand what another poster said about you being the parent and all autistic children being different. But...as a mother of an autistic son (also verbal) I do appreciate when someone else who has tried something before I have lets me know how it went and can give me advice! We arrive late, so even if there are crowds, we have a better chance of going straight to our room once we have checked in. It helps to have your own place to go to if there is a meltdown and a quiet place to chill for a few minutes. At muster drill when they ask if anyone needs special accommodations I always follow that crowd and make a quick explanation. I have never had any of the staff tell me we had to go with the crowd. The only thing I didnt think about which you may want to consider is that the main dining room is very noisy. Maybe not to someone with no sensory issues, but for my son it was almost overwhelming the first night. They also sat us at a table for ten. It was too much noise and too many strangers for the poor fellow to take. On the way out that night (before we could even order) I stopped and asked for a table by ourselves. Again they were very helpful and put us in an area that didnt see a lot of foot traffic. I now know to ask for a table as soon as we can meet with the maitre d the first day. I hope this helps you.

Thanks for sharing! I have so many points I could never use them all. I am going to enter multiple times if they let me. If I win I will take my kids on a spring break or Christmas cruise and it doesnt matter which ship!

I prefer aft and have only chosen aft rooms since my second cruise. We just booked last week and my sister wanted forward because someone told her she wouldn't get seasick. I am not happy with her at all! :( But at least I am cruising.

found them at Bilo in little ole Clearwater SC!

I always bring a cross stitch project with me. The only crafts I have seen onboard is scrapbooking. :(

This probably wont help you since it has been almost a year....he was on the Fantasy when we cruised last Dec.

My son made it his personal mission to try mofongo everywhere we dined our last trip to P.R. His favorite is still at Orozco's in Condado. He ate there every day for lunch or dinner. One thing you have to consider is that the sauce will taste different according to who is making it. I have tried many times to duplicate their flavor but cant quite get it right.

We are in the Augusta area so ours is always the week of the Masters.

On our last Fantasy cruise (Dec 2013) we sailed with a group of 500-600 on a Gospel tour. They were from somewhere in the midwest states and of many denominations. It was the most peaceful of all of my cruises. I loved it!

Orozco's...we ate there everyday!

Sorry you are having trouble. I sent a price protection form at 8:00pm and it has already been adjusted (9:40pm). I have never called.

We are all early risers, even on vacation. Unfortunately one week off from work is not long enough for me to get used to sleeping in late. When I cruise with my sister, she goes up on deck and smokes a cig first before she wakes me. She is used to being up at 5am...thats a little early for me! We bring something to read out on deck until everyone else starts waking up.

Even with a balcony cabin, my oldest sleeps somewhere on deck at least once per cruise. He says its better then "camping out" when he was in the Army.

They are all invalid attachments :(

On our last cruise our head waiter leaned over and whispered "conch fritter" and winked at me when I ordered the alligator fritters. They were good, but there was not enough meat in them to tell exactly what it was. I plan to eat something different each time, but its like going to a favorite restaurant and always ordering the same things. Next time I promised myself I would try all new dishes.

We had them on our five day cruise in Sept.

Sonicked where did you buy your dress? Does it come in any other colors? I love it!
Question on "Dealer's Choice - Exclusive Offer Rate Applied" (rate code PZ1)
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
I am booked under this deal and it is not an early saver rate. I know this because I booed three rooms and had a question about one of them. I was told the other two are early saver and mine was not. I would still call someone at carnival to confirm.
