Thanks everyone.  I haven't ever flown in that late before and wanted to be prepared.

We will be arriving in FLL airport on the 4/16 at 12:30 am for a cruise out of Miami that same day.  We have booked the DoubleTree in Miami for April 15th for our arrival.  My question is what is our best source of transportation from the FLL airport to the DoubleTree in Miami at that time?  I was thinking a rideshare, but not sure.  Anyone done this or familiar with Fort Lauderdale/Miami to offer suggestions?  BTW, not that it matters, but we will be cruising on the Horizon on April 16th.  Our first cruise back since COVID. 

We sailed in April 2017 when DD was about 20 weeks pregnant. All forms were signed and faxed in approximately two weeks ahead of time, She had a doctor's appointment the week before we left and she got the original documents to carry with her.

When we arrived she was flagged at check in. We had to wait for a supervisor who escorted us through security and up to the boarding area then we had to wait until she took all the paperwork somewhere and have a sign off by someone. When she came back she said everything was fine but DD had to go back and be checked in. This was done upstairs in the boarding area. The additional time was probably 20 minutes to complete everything.

No problems just had to walk through the steps.

She had no issues due to her pregnancy other than possible additional swelling of the ankles/feet. She doesn't get seasick normally and this cruise was no different.

Looking for thoughts on the cost of travel from Hampton Inn & Suites Miami/Brickell to the Port of Miami for 6 passengers with possibly 8 pieces of luggage. I was quoted $65, It sounded high but we usually travel as a couple. Is that about right?

BTW it isn't a shared service.

Was also told no car seat needed for the 3 year old. Is that only with public transportation? We are planning to bring one.

We were on the Lido room 10270 on the May 21st sailing. Our room stayed cool to cold. We had to adjust the temp up a few times. We both thought the whole ship was colder than usual.

We booked on board for our upcoming May cruise and received $100 credit and we were given the stock holders credit as well.

This may be a recent change I submitted for the credit Feb. 12th and never received an email. The credit just appeared on my documents.

I printed off a statement online that showed the date and carnival stock and emailed it last week for a September cruise and got an email within 24 hours that OBC had been added to my booking.

I just received mine as well!
