We’re going Dec. 6th. When is your sailing? Unfortunately, as it stands now, only the Pommery Rose is included in Premium +. I’m open to try it, but am disappointed that it’s the only champagne included now. However, with this thread blowing up and the many complaints they have received about this issue, hopefully we will see a better offering before December.

Dec 3rd. I'm not a Veuve or nothing person and I do like rosé (and sounds like Pommery is good, never tried), but there should be a premium non-rosé option. Even with the old list, it didn't really make financial sense with our moms being the 3rd and 4th passengers and not being big drinkers - but we wanted to go all out and not have anyone worry about something costing extra or having the bartender have to confirm that something wasn't included in the regular plan.

I kinda wish I would have upgraded already, so maybe they would have noticed when I called to cancel.

Holy crapola...in two cruises, even one where we hosted the slot pull, we played a whopping $600. We ain't never getting nothing from the casino.

I think our last cruise my husband and I accumulated around 2000 points each (so nowhere near the next tier). I won a slot jackpot, so ended up very much in the positive between the two of us (and made up for his losses). I got offers for a free cruise for specific itineraries, he got an offer for any 7-11 night cruise. I think they were able to combine both of our play for the cruise we ended up booking. It never hurts to call and ask if there is at least a discount available.

  3. We upgraded to the plus package for our last cruise and I loved the Veuve. Was planning on upgrading again for our cruise in December (with 4 adults in the cabin, so close to $1000 to upgrade). Husband is a Jack drinker, so was drinking Gentleman Jack as an upgrade - which is now on the regular list. I do like Moet, so hopefully that is still available. We do drink red bull as well, but not $1000 worth. So, I guess thanks for NCL saving us money, lol.

And I agree with an earlier comment, how is Skrewball premium?

I’m not sure what other posters have experienced, but what I’ve found is that your comp can also depend on which casino representative you get on the phone.

I’ve been told no by one or two representatives, then had the third do not only what I was asking but more. For instance, last week I asked if I could use my play to discount my family’s haven cabins, since we pay for them. First two reps, said they could only extend a 10% discount but call back after my cruise in May. The third representative comped all three haven rooms.

@TampaGamblerDo you think the offers for the other staterooms depends on your play? My husband's/my play got us an offer of an oceanview and we paid the extra to upgrade to Haven. I called to ask if I could get the 10% off another Haven room for other family members wanting to join us, but the rep said the 10% only applied to any "regular" stateroom, not Haven. Wondering if I should keep trying different reps.

  5. We are cruising in December and looking into the casino credit line instead of having to carry a bunch of cash/use the ATM. For anyone who has done it before how does it work? Hoping to convince my husband it wouldn't be a hassle.

If we are approved, does the person just go to the cage to withdraw cash against it or is it all electronic?

If you cash in your chips daily, do they apply it back to your credit line instead of handing back cash?

Here is a picture of this room taken from Cruise Deck Plans website. There is a You Tube video for room 16108 which shows a large pole/column in front of the tub which this room does not appear to have.

Thanks! I had seen the video for 16108 and purposely didn't choose that one, but hadn't been able to find that pic of 16110.

Question that you may or may not know. How strict were they about the one liter per person for the rum? That's basically three bottles for two people.

My wife and I were hoping to bring back more than that for some gifts. Can we bring back more if we pay the duty tax?

We just got off the May 27th sailing as well and brought back about 3 liters between the 2 of us. From what I had read before, only those that are bringing more than the limits would need to fill out the paper customs declaration in the terminal. But, they were doing the facial recognition thing as mentioned in the posted paperwork above, and before we knew it we were outside and never talked to a customs officer. Officially you can pretty much bring back as much as you want, but you may be subject to the duty fee (we usually bring about 2-3 liters each home from our cruises/other vacations, and have yet to have a customs officer bother to do the fee paperwork).
