I will be there at the end of January and want to do the dragons breath (sit down) can you tell me if there are a lot of stairs? I looked at a few YouTube videos and it looks like they take you up in a bus kind of thing. Just wondering because I can’t do a lot of steps but if there are some thats ok.

I will be going on Independence of the Sea in January and I have heard that they are now charging for room service. I saw on a post when I googled room service on RCCL and it said that continental is still complimentary. I like to have coffee/tea and a danish while getting ready in the morning on the balcony. Can someone confirm if that is complimentary or not. Thank you

Will be going to Labadee and we are looking for a great place to go snorkeling. Has anyone gone snorkeling there? Is it a good place to snorkel? If you have any pictures from snorkeling there that would be great to see.

If someone is getting on a ship soon would you do me a favor when checking in please? My sister just moved down to Merritt Island ( cape Canaveral area) and want to put her application in with the agency who hires the check in people. I know the port and the cruise ship companies do not hire them so if someone could ask the person checking you in what agency they were hired through and post it back on this thread I would GRATEFULLY appreciate it!

Do you know the name of the agency that hires for these positions? I have contacted the HR at port and yes they do not hire for those positions.

I got a Carnival gift card for Christmas so when I was at check in for cruise I gave the check in lady the card and the amount on the gift card was credited on to my S&S

I booked a round trip 7 day out of Seattle. I have done some research and I am seeing and hearing that orcas are hard to see lol

I have wanted and have dreamed of going on a cruise to Alaska for a very long time and now I am going. I am so excited! I have along time to wait still but I have started my research to see what I want to do. My brother will be coming with me. We love wildlife so if anyone can suggest different things that you have done that would be aw some. I would love to see a pod of orcas swimming by us that is for sure. I was just in Grand Turk and was able to see mom humpbacks with there babies and know there are a lot of humpbacks in Alaska so it will be awesome to see them there.

You can buy the insurance from Carnival for a 7 night cruise for 110.00. I'm trying to think of the insurance company. One is travel guard

I have always purchased the insurance to cover everything being cruise,flight,hotel. So I don't know if you can break it all down. I just like doing it all at once. For 70.00 I can insure everything so for the extra $20.00 that's what I would do

I have been taking 20.00 each Friday and hide it and don't touch it. Now I got a very welcome visit from one of my nephews on his way from Nashville to PA and I am one of those Aunts who likes to give my nephews some gas money and take them for a meal so I dipped into the stash since I never have cash on me. Well on my way home from work I stopped at the bank and got the amount of money out of the bank plus a Penalty charge. Wasn't out of the hiding sport 12 hrs and still paid the penalty. Lol

I ALWAYS get the travel insurance. One year my dad (80) fought me on it and well shortly after the cruise he was telling me he will listen to me for now on. My dad, sister and I were going on a cruise together to celebrate that he was done with some medical issues. We got on the ship and it was raining like crazy kinda like hurricane weather. We went up to eat lunch while we waited for our room to be ready then headed to our room. While walking across the pool deck my dad fell and well he broke his hip and we were off the ship before we ever got into our room. They tried to find our luggage but our luggage went on the cruise without us and was probably sitting on our balcony the whole time. Anyway. We NEVER saw a bill for anything. Hospital including surgery, rehab facility(which after a week by his side I had to go back home to Ohio and that killed me leaving him down there). We were reimbursed for the clothes we bought, food and lodging. While he was in the hospital his GOOD watch was stolen off his wrist and all I had to do once I got home was send the insurance company the receipt for it which he listened to me and kept that also. Lol

When he was healthy enough to fly the insurance company sent a personal nurse and a limo to the rehab facility and took him to the airport and the nurse and my dad flew first class from Florida to Ohio. He was so excited. Lol I got soon many calls from him. The limo, personal nurse and first class ha he was a happy camper. That insurance coverage was through travel guard. I will never travel without travel insurance!!!!

Has anyone see whales from off the ship on the way in to Grand Turk or leaving? We have a balcony and will be there during migration in 2016.

My cruise is going to be pulling into port February of 2016. Looking to find some excursions so if anyone learns of any please post them.

We will be at Amber Cove. I guess it is a new port so don't know what is around this port
