Does anyone know the cost for parasailing?

LaQuinta Hobby Airport has a package that includes transportation for 4 from the hotel to the port and back to Hobby on your return from the cruise. They charge about $250 for the room for a night and the transfer, which is $110 more than the basic room rate. We used it our first two times cruising out of Galveston. If there are 4 of you it's a pretty good deal.

Do you have a good review of this hotel?

1. We want to use our OBC for internet and bottomless bubbles for the kids sailing with us, what is the quickest way to do this once we are on board and where do we go to add it?

2. How can I make sure ahead of time that all 3 of our cabins are connected in the booking so we all eat at the same dining table?

I know that Carnival does not require it, but I am wanting to have the parents of a kid traveling with us fill one out just in case. Does anyone have a link to one they have used or like?

Do any of the internet plans allow you to stream music or will my daughter need to download songs prior?

Its been a while, but they use to make a Bonine for kids. I know we bought it a few years ago. We also brought ginger snaps along.

We have been there twice and never knew any of this existed. Gives me a lot more to consider now.

Great information, we are going to PB in March and plan to Parasail.

I do not like to carry cash. Can I use credit most places? We will have 8 people, so it would require a significant amount of cash to be carried.

Looking at renting a car from Hobby the day before our cruise and driving to Texas City for the night. Next day, will drive family and luggage to the port and drop them off. I thought I read that there is a Starbucks they can walk to?? Will return the car and uber to port. Anyone know the general cost of the uber? Also planning to do the same in reverse after our cruise. Can I uber back to Texas City?

We snagged a $67 flight home from hobby to Green Bay the Thursday before Easter on Southwest.

We have a cruise booked for the week before Easter and I have saved about $100 a cabin in 3 price drops already.

Yes!! We ended up renting a minivan for 6 of us. We got a "one way" rental in Galveston. Picked it up at 9am (we took Get Me to car lot from terminal). Then we stored our luggage in the back and drove around Galveston. The one way rental wasn't any more than the shuttle for 6. It may not be affordable for 2 people. Let me know if you have any questions.
