Given your druthers, would you take a whale watching tour in Juneau or out of Victoria?

Which, if either, is more likely to see whales? Which is going to provide more wildlife observations?

I have to pick one or the other. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas?

We are wondering the same thing so will keep an eye on this thread to, hopefully, get some ideas.

Right now we are thinking of walking the El Morro Trail along the coast and to the fortress to begin with and maybe find a club to park ourselves in for the rest of the evening.
