We cancelled a family cruise ( 5 staterooms ) 7 weeks ago. We haven't received a refund yet.

I read on a facebook thread the formal nights were on Sunday ( sea day ) and Wednesday, Roatan on the Western route, then Monday ( sea day ) and Thursday ( sea day ) on the Eastern route.
We are also on the January 18 B2B, coming from Edmonton, Alberta

Does Princess do this every year?

Great advice, thank you! I will join the Disney Cruise email alerts.

I'm following this with great interest as we are planning a 2021 Disney cruise with our 3 adult children and their young families. We are just waiting for the itineraries to open up and will be searching the most cost effective way of getting us all on!
-
Great to hear! How blessed you are to spend so much time travelling!!!! We embark her January 6th for our first time on Celebrity and are so very excited!!!

In Edmonton, Alberta, Canada we also have a shortage of Yellow Fever Vaccine. We have our Hep A and B and are travelling to Brazil in January 2019. It is a suggestion to have the vaccine but not a requirement, thankfully,

I seem to remember an airline posting .10 cent fares and they granted them years ago.

We were able to get Argentine Pesos, Brazilean Reals as well as Chilean Peso here in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada at the Calforex money exchange for excellent rates.

We also received an invitation to bid for the first time. Presently we have an aft balcony that we booked almost 2 years out from the cruise date. I ignored the first email invitation as we love the aft balconies, but this morning I received a reminder. I have to admit I am a little bit tempted as we've never stayed in a suite before.

Thank you for that! We will be boarding her in January and its exciting to see our aft balcony!

We booked the Sky Princess for a B2B Jan 2020 in a Balcony cabin. Free gratuities, free premium drink package, onboard coupon books of $750 with deposit of $125 per person.

Thank you OP! You saved us $495.60US. With the Canadian vs American currency that's a lot so thanks!

Exactly my thoughts but its great hearing from the pros! Thank you!

Yes we will be applying shortly for the Brazillian Visa. I just would like clarification on the best airport.

I'm researching flights from Buenos Aires post cruise to Iguazzu for a 3 night stay at the Belmond Hotel. The flight duration and price vary considerably between the 2 airports. The Hotel will provide transportation from either airport, one being a 25 minute drive but a 6 hour flight with stops, the cheaper one with the direct flight being almost an hour drive. Common sense is telling me to book the cheaper, shorter flight with the longer drive to the hotel, IGU. I'm pretty sure IGU is the way to go but I want to be positive. Advice please and thank you!

We are also staying at hotel Melia. It came highly recommended by friends who stayed there.

Hi. I apologize if I'm repeating myself on this board. We are embarking in San Antonio and disembarking in BA. There is a lot of discussion from others who stay in Santiago pre-cruise. I'm curious as to why do they don't stay in Valparaiso pre-cruise? Coming from Canada do we fly into Santiago and stay there for 2 nights or Santiago 1 night and go to Valparaiso for the night before the cruise, or Valparaiso 2 nights? As its the dead of winter when we leave Canada we will give ourselves 2 days in case of weather delays. Thank you for any and all advice.

We also are on that same cruise, staying at the Hotel Das Cataratas for 3 nights following. Our plan is to visit both sides while there. I'm doing research now as far which airport to use, transportation from airport to hotel, and how to get to the Argentinian side. I'm sure it will all make sense at some point! Lol

We are looking to book a 7 day cruise that embarks and disembarks in the Hawaiian islands. Is Norwegian the only cruise line that does this? Thank you in advance for your help...

We were on the Nieuw Amsterdam 2 weeks ago in 8039. Minimal noise from above.
-
We also enjoyed the Le Cirque menu on March 12 on board the Nieuw Amsterdam. The pea soup was the best surprise as it was amazing!
-
If you book the Le Cirque you will be offered the date and time as it is a special event that is not every night. If you are considering the Le Cirque, I would recommend that you book it online prior to your cruise.
Refund
in Disney Cruise Line

Our cruise wasn't until next year so final payment hadn't been made yet. We were entitled to a refund. Disney has been exceptional.
