I am not new to cruising, but someone mentioned about buying a key for their cruise and don't know anything about it. 

I know how to book online, but does Royal have an agent when you call their number if you want to make any changes or ask questions about your reservation?

Yes, if your cabins are linked or you paid for her cabin.

Yes, gets applied to your sign-n-sail. 
 

Unless you are getting it specifically as a budgeting tool or a gift, I recommend the generic Cruise Cash that can be used for any purpose. You should know that it is a use it or lose it. With the generic one, you can use the casino trick to load it onto a machine, then cash out after a play or two to turn it into take home cash.

You order it with your credit card on the Carnival's website and it becomes a credit on the booking # you give.  It's titled Cruise Cash Bar and can only be used for drinks. 

Do they put a certificate in the cabin? Do you have to take it to customer service desk or will the credit  already be on the Sail and Sign account? Thanks!

You will need a negative test in order to board. Perhaps you could take a rapid test Monday morning. Also is there something your doctor could write for you to say you had Covid but have recovered.
