  1. We didn’t bother bringing them off the ship.  They are not branded for the cruise line, so it’s not a memento in that sense, and not being insulated I knew we would never use them.  They would not even stay cold overnight in the a/c cabin.

I was also disappointed in how few filling stations there were.

My opinion is take an insulated one and enjoy the tasty water!

I reacted to this. Trivia and name that tune for this person is for those younger than 67.

No, I think they were saying they are older, but not so old that trivia and NTT are all they can do.  Maybe looking for activities that are more movement oriented?

Yeah, I was just clowning around.  I thought that was obvious.  🤡

oh.  Never mind.  No harm, no foul.

maybe next time you are being silly include the clown face on the first post.  Then we will know you are playing.

That actually has never really happened.

I guess I don’t know what happened to me personally then.  I was sure that is exactly what happened to TWO of our family’s three bags!  I must have a better imagination than I thought, because I can still see the room where I had to go to find/identify my luggage.  I can still remember the disruption to the day.  But, after all, YOU said unequivocally that it has never happened.  So, who am I to say it happened to me.

  5. I bought and used them.  Two of the three got torn off the bags and we had to go find our luggage.  I used the straps that came with the tag holders and they were applied correctly.

After that occurred I just began using a strip of clear packing tape over the front and back of the printed tag and then staple or tape it closed onto your bag handle. None of those ever came off for us and all our bags were at our door waiting for us.

Now, we carry on our bags whenever possible. They have wheels and we don’t mind pulling them with us.  2 trips done this way and not planning on stopping!  Easy peasy!

This thread seems to have been going along for years, but one thing we didn't see mentioned is that if everyone continues to remove sand from beaches there won't be any beaches anymore.

Because we all know it isn’t continually moved in and out by the waves, wind and rain; nor could it possibly gain more sand by the natural breakdown of corals/shells/rocks.  Oh wait…it IS and it DOES!!!

People collecting sand has never caused the elimination of a beach.

I would suggest a more worthwhile battle.

Did I read somewhere that they're not insulated at all, so can't expect a cold drink for very long?

I think I saw that as well.  Now that I have the pre-thought. of a water bottle like this, I have to admit I’ve been looking at insulated alternatives.  I have two cruises (NCL) before my Oceania Christmas/NYE cruise, so it *would* come in handy.

  8. Cool!  Thanks for sharing!

I am curious what size lid is needed.  I’m more of a straw person than a pour and spill all over myself person (which tends to happen more often than I’d like to admit...LOL)

I LOVE my Yeti Rambler (30 oz tumbler) but it isn’t travel friendly, no matter how nice and snug the lid fits.

It looks like NCL is really on the ball with this!  I’d be bummed to have this happen, but a full refund plus 100% FCC - great customer service!

Here’s a recent Currents from Riviera’s stop at Nice (Villefranche) on the November 2021 TA. Definitely low-key, but there are things to do. Several activities hosted by entertainment staff, that should be fun!

A picture is worth a thousand words!
(Now, who is so inclined to actually do a word count on this image? 🤣🤣🤣)

Robin122, is that 800pp? Was that your original bid, or did they offer you the live bid? With the  live bidding, no matter  how high I went, they said I was outbid……it  really makes me wonder…… I doubled my original  minimum bid for the haven aft with large balcony, still a bargain from their asking price….We sail when you get back for New Years! Congrats on getting your upgrade! Have a great time!

    800 pp (x2)

this was my original “poor” bid

i got an email telling me it was done and the new cabin was assigned.
