Thanks for the review, especially the different food and dining options. This will be our first trip on this large of a ship so I'm a bit apprehensive but I've done a lot of research and hopefully I'm prepared. Just need to get in that "I'm not in a hurry to get anywhere" mode.

If two of us have the Voom package, what is the best way to text without charges. I know to put phone on Airplane mode and then turn on the Wi-Fi but can I still use Facebook Messenger without any cellular charges? I also have Hangouts downloaded if that one works better. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for all the bar menu pictures! Looking forward to trying some of these. We purchased the Beverage Package, which includes premium cocktails up to $12.00 and I'm noticing that the Premium cocktails are now $13.00. Have the cocktail prices recently gone up? I probably should go back and search all of the Beverage Package threads, right? LOL ;)

I also like decorating our door. Never had a problem until last cruise when some of the July 4th magnets started disappearing from all of our doors. I was a little upset at first but then remembered how inexpensive they were and I'd never be using them again anyway. And it does help me find my cabin quicker.

We're leaning towards Great Bay ourselves. Did you rent chairs from a particular location and how far down the beach did you go? Thanks.

We cancelled our wifi package last week because it looked like we were going to miss the cruise. DH had emergency surgery and spent 9 days in the hospital.

Fortunately, we were able to make it, and we are waiting to board!! :D

I had these fears myself a few years ago when my 18 year old and his same age cousin were on same cruise. We did let our son have a drink when we were at a port but there was no drinking on the ship (and I would have known). They were able to purchase cigars and I guess that made them feel cool enough. We did set a curfew.

Just set some basic family rules, along with ships rules and let them have fun, as long as they're not inconsiderate to other guests.

Excellent ideas! I didn't even think about using magnets. Tried balcony once out of desperation and that didn't work at all.
