Last May we (two people) booked the smallest Aqua Suite for a total of $10,000. It was AWESOME!

Wow, sure looks like I'm in a minority with my opinion. I didn't mean to offend anyone. I was just stating my thoughts. You all have valid thoughts. I guess I should take a refresher course in english too :p:D.

 

CruizAddct you are not the only person that has noticed the decline in services and amenities! I've taken three cruises this year and even within this year, I've noticed a steady decline in all areas of RCCL. So much that I am sailing on a competitor for the first time in 5 years in January.

 

I've emailed all my comments to agoldstein@rccl.com I realize it doesn't really matter to him or RCCL as I am only a party of 2, but as a Diamond Plus, I wanted to express my disappointment.

I always leave it in the room. I guess it is reqifted.:confused:

This is one of the sweetest reviews I have ever read! I hope you keep a copy of it for you, DD and future grandchildren to enjoy one day!

Just booked with Executive VIP Limo for the second time from MCO to Doubletree. I love supporting a family business! If you don't want to do the "shuttle" thing, I highly recommend Michael & Marlene!

I booked my place on the Liberty for Dec and upgraded to a Junior Suite and they do pay your gratuities. The total payout for this tournament is $50,000.

I played in this years tournament on the Navigator. It really wasn't that big a deal. Not much different than playing in the one that got me there. I'm pretty sure the first prize was $5000 & they paid the top 5. (It wasn't that long ago but since I didn't make the finals, I wasn't paying too much attention) When all was said & done, everyone got something with the lowest amount being $200.

 

It was a good cruise but not really free. You'll still pay taxes & port fees........ I added to that by upgrading to a balcony from an ocean view on deck 2. Since it was a 5 day cruise at the time we generally take a 2 week Caribbean vacation, we did a b2b2b. We had a good trip but for the cost, I won't bother in the future. I'd rather choose my own cruise date & destination.

 

Thanks Phoenix for the info! The winning letter I got says "Royal Slot Tour" Championship tournament ...Estimated prize pool is $50,000. Guess that is really far off from a 1st place prize of $5,000!

 

How many contestants (estimate)? Any private parties? Did they pay your gratuities? Trying to decide if it is really worth it... Don't mind paying taxes & fees, but it sounds like they are making a big deal out of nothing.

Has anyone won and played in the Annual Slot Tournament for winners from all of the ships? I won with a $25 entry fee and there were 88 contestants. The tournament will be Dec. 5, 2011 on the Liberty.

 

Was interested to know if you enjoyed it and what the payouts were...Thanks for any info you may provide!

We enjoyed the services of VIP Limo! We will use them exclusively on future trips! Used them from MCO to Doubletree and Port to MCO. A++++++

We stayed at the Doubletree Oceanfront Cocoa Beach and absolutely loved it! Besides being oceanfront, great rooms/beds, microwave, coffee pot in room, yummy cookies, and friendly staff, we also could walk to Publix, hair/nail salon and several restaurants. A++++++

Cab to port was $25 (includes the tip we gave). Sure beats all those sitting in the lobby waiting for a shuttle with tons of luggage, but of course that is a personal decision. A++++++

Hit $3,250 on the Serenade of the Seas (RCL) last week!!!

I'm a three year addict on Botox, and had my first Juvederm Ultra put in my marionette lines yesterday. I was so afraid, but am pleased! Next time I will get more! They applied a numbing cream 20 minutes before and it didn't hurt anymore than the Botox. Love these products!!!;)

I got on my wii today after a week off, finally felt like I wouldn't cough my head of exercising. I put in my new wii plus and took a bike ride. Before I knew it I had gone 4.5 miles! I couldn't find the last flag so I had a nice view of the trails. I'll have to do that again soon. Whatever I'm doing it must be paying off as I'm not gaining any weight and my clothes are looser!

Started my 2nd 30 day challenge yesterday. Also started a journal on everydayhealth.com, the calorie counter. Hoping it will help me to see what I am actually eating.

 

Watched The Biggest Loser tonight and it proves that I even when I think I am sweating and tired, I need to keep going!
