Thank you Robyn for taking us along on your cruise, you did a great job:D

bring PENS:), need to do custom forms, write down info about waiters tablemates etc. I bring a small memo book that I write info in each day about cruise, makes it easier to do a scrap book.

I guess there was a problem on that sailing and Royal is giving cruisers some compensation in return for the less than perfect cruise they had planned.
What does the future cruise certificate say as far as how to use it?
Just asking as information sharing....it is everyone's hope that nothing happens on a cruise to have this as a result.

Yikes.. I did not receive the letter.. have you received the certificate yet?

I was wondering the same thing.. We have not yet received a letter. I did call RCCL before Christmas, and was informed they have 30 days to send the compensation letter - so we should expect it by December 30th. When I asked her about the 25% off a future cruise - and told her that was what we were told on the ship, she asked me if I had it in writing! She said compensation had not yet been decided - so i am a bit concerned it is not going to happen.
I was on Freedom Nov.30, I got a letter at when I checked in "We will be providing each guest with a future cruise certificate for 25% of the cruise fare paid for your November 30, 2014, Freedom of the Seas sailing. This certificate may be used for a future cruise on any Royal Caribbean ship within the next year. Future cruise certificates will be mailed to your home address or travel agent within six to eight weeks."

Be sure to select your welcome aboard beverage on Royal's website.
Thanks for the info:D, I just became Emerald after the Freedom Nov 30th cruise. I just picked out my beverage for the Jan. 4 2015 cruise:)
-
On 11/30/14 Freedom, only available on both formal nights.

The email from Royal says "due to a technical issue, it will be necessary to modify your sailing's itinerary". My DH is not happy.

Just received for Nov. 30 sailing:D

106 days 15 hours till we sail:D

#5- Cabin is a good one, we had 10329. We loved it:D. You have views of the ocean, aqua theater, boardwalk, rock climbing wall. The only negative is a long walk from elevators/stairs to cabin, but it was good exercise:)

We figure Melbourne wil be easy to get through security too. Don't know why we haven't used this airport before when MCO and the toll roads just don't make sense. We have friends cruising with us that are driving and they're picking us up .
You will love Melbourne airport, it is so relaxing:D. We always check to see if we can fly out of Melbourne first
-
55 days, leaving DH home, have a small room with a ocean view all to myself(first time). Girl's weekend.
-
We had a B1 Boardwalk Balcony on Oasis- 10329. It was great, I would book it again. It's aft next to the rock climbing wall. You can watch the activity's on the boardwalk, watch the shows in the aqua theater, and still see the ocean.:D:D:D We did not find it noisy, DH tooks naps differant times of day:)
-
6 days until Oasis, when I booked ,embarking in 632 days.:D
