I work for a well known hotel chain. We have a nice water container that has fruit in the centerfor flavor in the lobby. After so many times of watching guests fill up their bottles , I put a sign up directly at eye level. Of course they still do it even after looking straight at the sign! You might as well speak to an aardvark!

I know that the fun times and dinner menu are available on the Carnival HUB app
but can you get a copy at the service desk? Also, are they posting the dinner menus outside the dining room as they normally did? Great pics, we will be onboard Dec. 5. Although the interior is darker then most, I do like the layout. Also since going on Allure of the Seas 2 yrs ago, it's nice to be able to access more outdoor space.

Last question-hopefully. Can the account with the NAVICA app be set up any time after receiving
the test kits or must it be done the day before testing.
-
Barsnikel-Thank you for the instructions. My only question would be about downloading the Navica app. Believe it or not my husband does not own a cell phone. You said each adult must download the app to create an account. Can we both do it on my phone or one laptop which will be my son's? Or can we go to the website on our home computer to set up the accounts. We will probably use my son's laptop to do the tests instead of my phone.

Thanks for the quick responses. I know this sounds crazy, but I have a new phone and I don't know how to video chat so I guess I'll hit up my son or go to the place I bought the phone from and have one of the youngsters show me how!

Thinking we should have a backup plan to the Walgreens test. We are going on a cruises Dec. 5. I am not a phone savvy person nor is my husband. I basically just make calls or text. Are there some instructions in the test kit on how to do it? The only other time I've done anything similar was a teleconference? on my phone with a doctors office prior to a (yuk) colonoscopy.
Thanks in advance for any help. We are trying not to stress over this since there is enough in our daily lives these days!

Thanks you all for your help!

We will be on Anthem of the Seas October 24. I was trying to find out if there is a charge to go on Northstar.
I thought it was free but I read somewhere that they charged you if you made a reservation and did not show up. My husband
thought he heard there also were two different options when you went up. Thank you in advance for any advice on this.

Thanks I will also look at those cruise lines and the Alaska board. Have been on NCL but never Holland. Always willing to try
something new at least once.

We are looking at a n Alaska cruise for next year. I was hoping to get some help on who to choose.
We usually go with Royal Caribbean or Carnival. We are probably going to do 7 or more days. Just looking for some
feedback.

Thanks for the quick replies. I think he is more concerned about on the road-it may sound silly but drug cartel incidents with tourists getting in the way, shootings that kind of thing.
Tampatramp-thank god we are on Adventure of the Seas!! I think Penny is there!

We will be stopping at Costa Maya on our cruise. Is there any reason to be concerned with our safety while taking a tour? We will be going to the ruins at Chacchoben with Native Choice. My husband has read online warnings issued by the state dept. and now he's getting me wondering how safe are we?

I checked my cruise planner today and was surprised to see a cabin assignment-cabin # 8666. I was even more surprised to see that they have given us a spacious ocean view balcony! Great location and not a connecting room. I was hesitant to do the guarantee balcony but it looks like I lucked out!

We are on Adventure of the Seas in October. I was looking at going to Mr. Sanchos in Cozumel. I was wondering about the beach area. Is it nice or rocky?
-
We are going on Adventure of the Seas in October. I went online today and saw that a balcony guarantee was available. We currently had an inside cabin. When I called the total price to switch was $7.00!!! I hope I did alright. I have never done a guarantee before. We always picked our own cabin. I just hope I don't get a connecting room. I read here that if that happens I may be able to call and change it if they still have cabins in the same category. Hoping that's true.

I agree with Sea Raven. Our beach day on Jost Van Dyke was one of the most relaxing days we've ever had. So sad to see the damage caused by the hurricanes. We so hope to go back one day and see things close to the way they were before.
-
So if I booked early saver and I make a fake reservation and see the total price is less than mine for the same cat. cabin, I can call and ask about a price reduction (OBC)? Even after I have made final payment?

Would they add hot tubs to the Serenity Deck area?
-
We just booked Conquest for November. According to another website I use for deck plans, she is scheduled to drydock at the end of September. It says they will be adding an Adult Serenity area on the forward area of the upper decks. I love the hammocks and large covered chairs. Have a great trip whatever you choose!

Zombies can't swim but they certainly can float! Must be all those gasses building up!

Thanks for the quick reply Ken. Looks like this will be a good cabin! We were worried we would get something above or below dining room, kitchen, basketball court etc.

We are sailing on Allure in November. We just switched from a central park view to an ocean view balcony guar. Sept. 9th and got our cabin number yesterday-very quickly! To me it looks like a great location and deck but I'm curious if someone can tell me what the blank space opposite our cabin is. We are on Deck 10, Cabin 10218. The only thing I can think it might be is some kind of crew work area? It show up on Decks 9,10,11,12. My husband thinks it has something to do with a bridge across the ship which appears to be on Deck 14. I just want to know if this is going to be an area that would be noisy with crew going in and out. If anyone has had a cabin on this ship or Oasis in the same area I would appreciate knowing how it was. It is between the two humps. Thank you in advance.

Nevermind-it works on Chrome. Wasn't working on Internet Explorer.

I was on the website earlier today but I can't get on anymore. Is it just me or are they having issues?

Hello Radio.I'm really enjoying your day by day review. We will be on board Oct. 16. I would hope they have resolved the issues at the Aqua show by then. I just have a couple of quick questions. Do you know if the water slides on the ship are open on Perfect Day day? Also just your opinion on the best pay restaurant to try. Thanks in advance and enjoy the rest of your cruise(s).
