  1. No not at all.You will be met at the airport after you have collected your cases by Thomson staff. Then you will be told which coach will take you to the ship. From the port you will pass through the embarkation process i.e. Photo taken for your boarding card, register your debit/credit card and from there you will join the ship immediately. You then will be shown to your cabin and if luck is with you your suitcases will arrive shortly afterwards. Then the ship is all yours to explore at your leisure and the facilities are all there for your use.

  2. Hi,when we used the metro it took us straight to Sagrada Familia. It was only a few minutes from the port gates to the metro station. If you plan to go inside the building book online before you go as you can pick the time that suits you best, otherwise the queues are horrendous. We walked back to the port and it took about 40 mins.Be aware of pickpockets on the metro as it is notorious for them.

  3. Hi all, just booked 2 weeks on the Island Escape:) leaving Palma on the 15th April. Is anyone else going and as a first timer on board(been on a few of the other Thomson ships)any tips would be appreciated.

  4. Hi there.my son and I did the zip wire in Antigua a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it.However I would say you need to be quite active to do this. There is a lot of stairs to negotiate and the zip wire itself is quite hard going and there was a few people in the party who struggled with it.As I said we both had a great day out but it can be hard going in places.

  5. Hi,I booked with a local t.a and got free a.i and a £100 pp onboard spend on the caribbean transatlantic crossing in April.I did book early and got a really good deal as Thomsons never do free ai in the caribbean, its currently about £150 pp to go with Thomsons online. My advice would be shop around get the cheapest price then go to your ta and see if they can better it.
