I don't believe so, but whatever you purchase in the Duty free shop gets delivered to your stateroom by 7pm the last evening of the cruise.  If you found something you really like you could maybe crack it open that last evening and take the rest home with you.

Do you know if they deliver liquor purchases to your room after the first leg of a B2B?

Here’s our experience for those wondering about enforcement at Port Everglades.

DH and I are boarding today for a B2B on Odyssey. To see what would happen we went through two different security lines.

DH had 2 bottles of wine in the same bag.  He reports that his X-ray screener looked carefully at his bag but did not say anything.  He came through with his two bottle without clarifying that he is a B2B guest.

I also had 2 bottles but separate into two different bags.  My screener matched the bags to me, confirmed that each had a bottle.  I explained I was b2b, holding both set sail passes as they called their superior, who heard that and waived me through; she showed no interest in holding the second bottle until the second cruise.

Summary, YMMV by screener. Surprise, surprise.

Good to know, thanks!!  We're doing a B2B on Odyssey in October -- Holy Land Tour and Transatlantic, which will be 27 days onboard!!  I hope they'll be lenient with us, too.  We are boarding in Rome.

Technically, you shouldn't have been getting drinks to go in DL anyway. Official Policy was no food or drinks to leave the lounge

I remember on quite a few cruises where a large table was set up in the DL with several kinds of wine -- probably 100 full glasses, for Diamonds to take with them on their way out.  Other times we were asked by the server if we'd like a glass of wine to bring to dinner.  Not so long ago.....

What questions? Are you serious? Questions about the poor decisions made by "experts" about air pollution, food delivery, contact with staff and other members of the public, screening, I could go on and on.

So many bad decisions. I know, monday morning quarterback is easy etc. David and Sally's room to hallway vent was only taped up THIS MORNING, a bit late don't you think?

Let’s not forget passing the virus through the waste lines. Ever have a problem with your toilet and a crew member magically fixes it without coming into your room? There is a panel to fix the toilet in the hallway. Ever flush your toilet and smell poop when you haven’t pooped? Those waste lines are intermingled. It has also been determined that this virus can spread through not just fecal matter but also passed gas (farts)! They evacuated an entire apartment building during the SARS outbreak because of this same problem of sewage pipes carrying the virus and infecting neighbors.

Thats correct BUT if everyone maintains their "cabin quarantine" that time would likley not have to be extended as there would be no new cases which is what NPCL was trying to explain. There will be an end very close to the 19th. Its really very simple statistics.

Unless, of course, it CAN be spread through ventilation or plumbing. That would break the quarantine.

The Captain has come on the PA to give us an update.  He says we are 95 miles SW of Nantucket.

The Seas are around 8 meters. I did the conversion and that is 26+ feet.  The wind is 50 to 55 knots. That is around 60 mph.

He says we have passed the front, but the conditions will remain like this until around 4 pm.  That sounds like a reason to celebrate at happy hour. 😁

    Yes, I’d say so! Clink!

    Thank you.

I will let you know how we do with the weather.  We are leaving early from Boston to try to get ahead of the storm.  However, I have looked at the radar and it looks like it is impacting all of New England and Mid Atlantic tonight.  So, I am sure we will have to head through it at one point.

The Adventure of the Seas did well coming through the last storm.  There was not much movement at all.  We have our fingers crossed.

Thanks!!!  Looks like the worst of it will be north of you once it gets cranked up. My friend is on your cruise and said the last storm wasn't bad at all. Those Captains know what they're doing! Have fun. I love this thread!
