  1. Not sure if this was mentioned but how about the people that take their used water bottle and refill it at the water dispenser!  YUCK....they drank out of that bottle and put it up to the water dispenser!

    PLEASE STOP DOING THIS!

ALSO STOP LICKING YOUR FINGERS WHILE EATING AND THEN GOING BACK UP TO THE BUFFET FOR MORE FOOD WITHOUT WASHING YOUR HANDS!

PLUS COVER YOUR MOUTH WHEN YOU COUGH OR SNEEZE, ESPECIALLY AROUND FOOD!

AND IF YOU ARE REALLY SICK STAY HOME!!!!!

  2. I do my exercises, even though it is still a little difficult.....however I push through!

My husband had both of his knees replaced as well a few years ago. His replacements are 7 years apart and he is doing rather well.

I went to his surgeon because I like how well my husband recovered plus also went to the same PT place.

We are rather active and are always on the go. We are in our mid 60's.

Once again thank you everyone on here for all of your suggestions and encouragement!

    Debbie

  3. cruiseri,

Are you booked on a cruise....if so when are you going? Our paths might cross!

Thanks to everyone for their good suggestions! Yes....I have been known to take ziploc bags with me for icing my knee even before the surgery! Glad the surgery is OVER and now trying to get my knee back to normal!

    Happy Sailing!

    Debbie

  4. Does anyone know if you have to pay to use the exercise bikes or other equipment in the gym on the ship?

I am recovering from a total knee replacement and I only need to use the bike for 10 minutes a day. I can't see paying for a class as I do not need that much time in the gym.

    Thanks!

  5. I suggest doing a free and easy self tour of desired locations in Singapore. It is easy to get around using the train and bus networks.

    Here's a website for a guide. http://www.yoursingapore.com/en.html

I'll be sailing on Sapphire on January 2016 - feels good to be on Princess ship again :)

I appreciate you getting back to me so quickly! I saved the website you sent to me and will research it later on today!

Once again....Thank You for the information!

    Debbie from Pennsylvania

  6. I see that the Sapphire Princess for our Feb. 2016 cruise has an addy near the Marina area. We are staying at the Pan Pacific Marina area so does anyone know if the dock is close to this hotel. Thank you.

    Larry. :)

We are also doing the Sapphire Princess Feb. 2016....(14th and 24th sailings)

    Hope to see you onboard!

ALSO....does anybody know if Princess offers shore excursions in Singapore for those staying on board between the two sailings?

I know that they have some for people disembarking the ship but nothing else is on the shore excursions page!

Really would like to take a tour of Singapore while we are there for the day!

Any ideas if this is possible?

    Thanks!

    Debbie

  7. Hubby and I are flying home from Singapore to Tokyo and then Tokyo to Hawaii and stopping at the Aulani Disney Resort for 2 nights to just chill before heading to LAX the next day for 1 night and then head home to the East coast! UGH!

    I hate long flights!

    Good Luck!
