We have done Edge and Apex. The S1 has the bed facing the window, S3 faces the TV on the wall. Not sure about S2. The cabins on the end of each row does have a extra window. We love them! So yes 8210 or 8220 do have a side window.

Do you have a favorite deck level for the Magic Carpet suites? We are thinking of trying one on Beyond.

  2. We also stayed at the Pan Pacific and we loved it. The Fairmont Waterfront is also very close to the cruise terminal just across the street from the Pan Pacific. Had friends that stayed at the Auberge and they said it was very nice and the hotel porters helped get the luggage to the cruise port. It was very crazy in the actual cruise terminal with people that had to check their own luggage so the Pan Pacific was great in that they just came to our room and got it and took it directly to the ship.

  3. Leaving next week on the TA on the Equinox... anyone know if we will have Xcelerate?

Anyone know how they take Elite minutes and the unlimited package? Do I get a percent off, or a dollar amount off?

    Thanks

We were on Equinox on the March 14 sailing and they did not have Xcelerate yet. I did get the unlimited package and being Elite we received a 30% discount for the cruise instead of the free 90 minutes. We could only connect one device at a time which worked fine for us.

  4. I saw a classic last week on the Equinox. I got up pretty early one morning (before 6:00) and I was out wandering around with my camera and a cup of coffee. One enterprising couple had used their luggage straps to "tie" their towels to their chosen chairs.

Cindy, did you see the people that draped their t-shirts over the chair backs to save them? They were there almost everyday, unoccupied for hours! I did see the luggage straps and thought what next? Lol!

  5. I think you may need to have your own xpress pass with only your individual name on it to check in separately. You can't have both names on one pass so I don't think a copy will work. You can print them out individually you just have to put your credit card in each individual account. If both names are on one express pass you have to check in together from my past experience. I've never cruised out of Vancouver though so it may work differently there.

  6. We have sailed in aqua class 5 times and each time we had to choose either early or late seating. The minute you choose select, gratuities are always automatically added to the cost of the cruise. Even though you can go and eat anytime in Blu, you still have to either choose early or late dining to avoid pre paying your gratuities. I think it's a glitch in the Celebrity system. Just trying to offer our experience with booking dining in aqua class.

  7. I think you may have had to pay the gratuities initially because you selected "select" dining. If you chose early or late seating you do not have to pay them beforehand. Even though dining in Blu lets you select when to go and dine nightly you still need to choose early or late seating. Anytime you choose select you automatically need to pre pay the gratuities. You may want to change your dining to early or late seating even though you can choose when to dine at Blu. If you choose "select", you may be assigned to the MDR.
