For our upcoming cruise in a DV, the excursions opened right on schedule but the restaurant ones started earlier - can't say how much earlier but several hours at least.

Selion,
Thanks for posting this very useful summary and to everyone else for adding in. We've a couple of Viking cruises under our belt but the devils in the details on these things.

Thanks to everyone for your responses. This is very helpful.

Has anyone tried to change an existing OLife reservation without changing to SM? I'm interested in changing the option on a future cruise from OBC to included excursions and wondering if this is still possible now that SM has been released.

Thank you so much; this is very helpful. Nothing like info from someone who has been there! Were there any excursions, including ones I haven't listed, that you recommend?
Thanks,
Don

I see Kent sent you the link to see them. I did the cruise in 2021. I can tell you the cost of any particular excursion if you wish - at least for then.

Could you provide the prices for the following excursions if you have them handy.
Thanks

Hello,
Does anyone have access to a copy of the excursion descriptions that are normally offered on the Iceland's Natural Beauty cruises (the circumnavigation of Iceland)? I'm coordinating a group for the cruise and an easily referenced document would be very helpful rather referring everyone to the website. I know they're not official until much closer to the cruise.
Thanks,
Don

I'm on the Sirena now. Fifth Oceania cruise; 1st post covid. I believe the food service is as good or maybe even better than my previous experiences. I was pleasantly surprised based on some of the feedback on this forum. That said, it depends so heavily on the particular chef, crew, etc you happen to encounter on your cruise. I believe they are clearly attempting to replicate the pre-covid food experience. Providing this just as an additional data point.

That is great; we join you on the 30th; Oslo - London. Any ship information you think would be useful would be helpful. We've sailed Oceania and R ships before so we're familiar with the layout but haven't sailed any of the Oceania R ships since they purchased Sirena and upgraded her.
Thanks,
Don

Thanks for the replies - really looking forward to this. Its been on my wish list for a while. Sounds like we'll have enough time to enjoy the experience.

I'm planning a private excursion to Mont St. Michele; day trip only. For those who have went, how much time should I allow to provide time to enjoy the experience, have lunch and not rush through it?
Thanks

Can you do the opposite - Book a Rivers cruise while you're on an Ocean cruise?

I was on the Regatta in August and, based on some of the reports here, I had some precruise reservations but they were unfounded. Like the earlier poster mentioned - based on the daily use/abuse the furnishings receive, they are in fine shape. Also had family with us who had never sailed on Oceania before and they were very impressed with the whole package! We've sailed on Oceania four times and been on variousR ships at least three times. I would gladly sail Regatta again with no hesitation. That said, I am looking forward to seeing her after dry dock with the new changes.

Thanks - great information. This would be really convenient.

Does anyone know if Oceania uses the Port Valet service at Seattle that provides for bag delivery from your stateroom direct to your airline? Anyone have any experience with using this service?

I echo everyone's else experience. We're on the Marina for a 7 day cruise in October - lowest reservation priority at 45 days and we got into all four specialty restaurants. We just had to be somewhat flexible on times but we're pleased with what we ended up with. That said, I suggest you make your reservations at the earliest time the rules will let you.

Hello,
Thanks for posting your report. Does anyone know about Shuttles at each of the ports?
Thanks, Don
