Hello All,

 

Sorry for posting my question in this thread. I could not get option to post new thread.

 

I have booked valor for me and my daughter, it is five nights trip, from Galvaston. Itinerary is Jan 14th to 19th with two ports Cozumel and Pregresso. This is our first curise and we need to drive from Dallas.

 

We are planning to start at 6.00 AM on 14th from Dallas. Check in is at 2.30 PM. We never been to Houston. We both are totally new to this route.

 

I am hoping we reach there by 1.00 PM. Please let us know if we are thinking wrong.

 

And we do not know what excursion we should book? and what else we need to book inside ship?

 

Please guide us.

wrong thinking. go the day before and get a hotel. not worth the risk of missing the boat because of unfore seen delays. use Galveston as a port also. you'll love it.

AH!! I couldn't wait to get home from work and find my Progreso pics!! Now I am WAY homesick to get back there!!

First, the port area is cute with a little bar outside and some shopping inside the port building...there are buses that run back and forth to town, it's unbelievable how long that pier is, I will show you from town in a bit...

 

The little outside bar and there's a little pool too!!

 

 

Elvis is still in the house here, it's retro fun, like the whole town:)

 

I knew I could count on a great review from you Floatie. You tell it like it is. That's pretty cook about your son's 1st drink.....

you can do the same thing, on your own for $3.00 round trip.....You will be on the same auto progresso bus as what the tour is.....it will drop you at the bus station in Merida...walk a couple blocks down to the square and start your own tour....Everything is right there....the cathedral, the governor's mansion.....when you've seen everything, walk back over to the bus station and catch the next bus back to Progresso....Me, my sis and my dad did this last October and had a blast....
