Thank you everyone for your responses. It looks like its time to book a cruise and make our own determination as to what is and what isn't since 2020.  Change is one thing....I understand this is what happens in life, but I still hope that there is value and positive experiences remaining after the changes.  Your cruise is what you make it. We always thought someone would have to work hard to have a disappointing cruise.  We are happy to hear that you are all enjoying great experiences on the cruises you have gone on in 2022. 😊 That is what I hoped to hear.   

We were avid cruisers before the pandemic and are now considering dipping our toe back into a cruise.  Our concern is that it will never be the same as it was pre-pandemic unless you spend a fortune to upgrade to the premium club accommodation.  I recently spoke with a friend who went has cruised quite a bit in the past but felt that the experience on this particular cruise line was disappointing and would never travel with them again.  Ship was clean.  Food was terrible.  MDR staff were non-engaging to the point of being rude.  It was all about the alcohol.  No soft drink package option.  Had to pay for some of the shows....really?  Is this the new norm on a cruise ship?  Maybe it is.   If this is the case...not for us. To be fair I have not read through this forum and maybe this has already been addressed.  Thank you for your thoughts and opinions.

Has anyone recently booked and traveled from Casablanca to Marrakesh through MSC cruises.  They offer a full day excursion but I have not been able to find any current comments.  Most of the comments are negative and I am disheartened to hear this.  I have always wanted to visit the market square in Marrakesh.  Would appreciate any comments from cruisers who have been there.   Thank you!

I have enjoyed reading through your many posts and they have been very helpful.  You are a wonderful resource.   We are traveling to Malaga in October 2020.  Our cruise ship comes in at 10:30AM.  Sadly we lose  a good hour and a half by the late arrival.   We are very interested in going to Ronda for the day.   We have about 7 hours to do this.   In your opinion would this be a wise choice due to our limited time.   So many tours plan a full day for this tour.   We appreciate any other individual comments as well.   Thank you!

It just might be the shampoo/conditioner/lotion or soaps they use on board.   When we were first cruising we loved the body lotion provided by Celebrity ships.  We brought some home just so we could enjoy the lovely aroma and the memories it conjured up for us.  I think if I had the chance to catch a whiff today, it would take me right back to a lovely caribbean  memory.  

Our first cruise was in October 2001....this being right after 9/11 we were unsure if we should go or not.   Well we did and absolutely fell in love with the cruise experience.  We said on the Celebrity Century.  It was the beginning of many new wonderful adventures for us.   Our next cruise is September 2020.  So looking forward to it.

Wow...sounds like you really love this ship. I am so happy to hear this. It seems like there is very little info on this ship and I was beginning to think it was not a good choice. All the posts seem to be Seaside or Meriviglia. We will be getting on when you are getting off. Wishing you a wonderful cruise.

Some times it is the browser you are using. I use either Chrome or Foxfire. I also go in through the booking number as someone suggested earlier. I have been able to make all purchases and complete my check in as well without issue. Hope this helps.

Yes they do and it sure beats the crowded buffet.

May I ask what time you embarked your cruise. We are sailing out of Copenhagen on 7/15/18 with the Yacht Club accommodation. Would love to go aboard sooner than later. Thank you for any information you wish to share. We are looking forward to a great adventure.

No the trio has to be used during a week. In the YC you can ask for something and they will have it for you on the next day.

We will be arriving into the Copenhagen cruise port and are looking for a hotel near the airport that might offer shuttle service from the cruise port to the hotel and then to the airport. In our initial research we found a hotel that provided these services but cannot locate it now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.:)

There are still cabins available that are comparable to our current accommodation and to be honest there wasn't any great perk that went along with our booking. I will look at it again and then contact the agent. I feel like it doesn't hurt to ask. Sure would be great if they would just make an adjustment to our current booking. Thank you for your input.

Today I went to the cruise website where I booked my cruise back in March. Today's rate was significantly lower. Since we booked a back to back with this company it actually affects me and my husband 4 times. We also invited another couple to join us so we are now affected 8 times. The cruise leaves in July 2018. In the past, when there was a price reduction prior to sailing we were given the lower rate. However that was a while ago. Certainly cruising has changed quite a bit. Just wondering how you might handle this if it were you. Thank you for any thoughts and opinions you might share.

Just booked 2 back to back cruises for July 2018 three days ago. Today I receive an email from a different company offering great rebates that would apply to my cruise. The company I booked with will not offer the deal. The level of accommodation is limited and even though I have cabins reserved, they are with the company that does not offer the deal. We are talking significant rebate dollars. I want to transfer my booking to the cruise company offering the deal. Does anyone know if this is possible? Thank you.
