  1. Generally, "best" and "most inexpensive" are polar opposites.

Most inexpensive is likely a NJ Transit bus from Toms River to Port Authority Bus Terminal, followed by walking from Port Authority to the cruise terminal. Since it's likely to be on the cold side for a walk, pile into a couple of taxis instead for a short, inexpensive ($10-12 per taxi) cab ride from Port Authority to the cruise terminal (Pier 88).

Best is taking a car service (using either a large van or limo) from Toms River directly to the cruise terminal. This is likely to be the most expensive way to go, but by far the "best" in terms of convenience. Call some local car/limo services to check their prices.

Other than driving your own car(s), I can't think of any other options. There's no NJ Transit train service that runs near Toms River. Closest train station is probably Bay Head Junction, close to 20 miles away.

Thank you, this is what we were considering. Might have someone drive us to a ferry terminal and go in that way too.

  2. Has anyone booked excursions in Puerto Rico through Island Marketing? We are looking at zipping and they have great rates and good time frames. Thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We've used them twice, both times they were excellent. I highly recommend them.
