Can't you just put that $500 under your mattress and take it out when you leave for the cruise? The advantage of doing it this way is if you don't spend it all for whatever reason, you haven't given it to Carnival yet so you don't have to worry about not getting it back.

I probably could but I never worry about spending it. I always go over🤣. If I ever had any left I would use it in the casino or the Seafood Shack. We travel as a family of seven so most of it gets spent on the kids anyway.

It appears that the maximum amount of cruise cash I can add to our cabin is $500.00. Are there any other ways to add gift cards to a sailing without adding them once on the ship at guest services?

The unfortunate answer is no. There is the $500 max for any cruise cash or combination of. The only way to add any additional gift cards is on board.

  3. I do this every cruise. We cruise typically with three rooms. Each room books on their own and then our PVP links them. Once they are linked, I add the other two cruises to my cruise manager. You just need their booking number to do this. On check in day, I check in all three rooms at the same time. I have never had to log in to their accounts. They will go in after they are checked in to complete the remainder of their information (passports/credit card info). We can each print out our own boarding passes or they can be printed out by one person.

    Hope this helps!

I had no idea you could get sodas through Carnival, not as the soda package that's nearly 10 bucks a day... That's a game-changer... I may need to re-think the soda package, although they say it's "non-refundable" and I've already paid for it. Looks like I have some research to do...

You can cancel the soda package as long as you do it before you leave.

We have a 10am arrival time scheduled for upcoming cruise. One passenger in our cabin will be traveling in a different car arriving for 12pm. Would she have any issues showing up at that time?

    Thanks

No. Depending on the port, they may have to go to the early/late line, but they won't have any issue getting on board separate.

Hi Everyone we are a family of 8 taking a cruise in September on the Carmival Dream we are flying in day before and looking to find best way to get from Hobby airport to Galveston to our hotel any advice is appreciated as this is our first time going out of Galveston

    Hello,

We used Anita Ride to transport our family of seven in March for the Jubilee. They were fantastic. They picked us up at the airport and took us to the hotel and then took us from the ship back to the airport. I highly recommend them!

How were the crowds?  Did it seem like it was still mostly a Spring Break crowd?  We're considering a Mar. 8, 2025 cruise with our 7 & 5 year old grandsons and don't want toooo crazy of a college spring break feel.  How were the lines at Big Chicken and Coast Slice?  Thanks!

We saw alot of teenagers but did not notice college students. I am not sure if that was because the number of them were small or they were well behaved. 🙃

You should have no trouble with that flight time. We booked our transportation with

Cruise Control and were there in plenty of time. We did self assist and the driver was there waiting for us. Arrived right around 9:00am at MCO.

    Call Corey at Cruise Control

We just booked with Cruise Control for our November Vista cruise. We chose a private shuttle and we a little shocked that they make you select a 15 minute interval to be picked up by the shuttle. Were you on the Vista also? What time did the shuttle pick you up to get to the airport by 9?

We'll also be on this sailing! It will be great to see you guys again! As for the inside cabin,  we've had them in the Havana area on the Panorama, and are booked into them for a B2B in April on the Vista. We didn't have any noise issues. The lack of a pool in the Terrazza area is a deal breaker for us. Of course YMMV. 😎

    Hey Jamman,

I am seeing mixed information on the interior Havana room. The people who stayed on the Panorama in inside rooms said they could not hear anything and those on the Vista said they could hear thumping from the bass in some interior rooms. Have you heard anything on the Vista? We will be in 5222 in November and are debating upgrading to a balcony if the noise on the interior is going to be bad.

If you have Diamond, platinum, in a suite or FTTF and do carry off, then you can be off lickety split.  We once had a 10 am flight off of the Splendor in Seattle and were there two hours early.  Similar with Mardi Gras--at MCO (about an hour away) by 8-9 am.  Usually off at Galveston by 7-8 am and on the road. However, you have to carry off the luggage yourself and have some sort of priority. Otherwise, it may take a long time to get off and I wouldn't risk that early of a flight.

We are going on the Visa in November and are platinum. We plan to carry our luggage off and have a private shuttle scheduled for 8am and a flight at MCO for 12:15. I was doubting myself a little about the time. What are your thoughts on the 12:15 flight?

  11. I have two different casino offers. One is for a free interior room and drinks on us for myself and companion. I have an identical offer (including deposit and OBC) on the same cruise but it is a Premier. What does the premier offer that makes it different. I have looked through the forum and see the differences between elite, ultra and premier but have not found an answer for my question.

Any advice from experienced casino folks would be appreciated.

We are cruising soon on Jubilee in an extended balcony room. Specifically ours is room 10346. My wife said she read that they aren’t allowing lounge chairs on these balconies on Jubilee. This particular post said they went and requested one, but were denied. The picture they shared showed plenty of depth for one.  I know I’ve seen at least one video that did have one. Is this something new?  We booked this room specifically because we’ve had it on Celebration and Mardi Gras with loungers. It’s definitely going to be a downer to have that big balcony with just two regular chairs.

We just got off the Jubilee on March 30th and had two extended balconies (12357 and 12359). They both were really large balconies but only had the two regular chairs and a table on them. We also had the excel suite right next to them (12363). Only the Excel suite had the loungers.

Cruise Control Transportation, we have used the private shuttle and they provided excellent service.

Do you know if they provide a stop to pick up soda? We plan to use them next March from the airport to Cape Canaveral hotel and then back from the cruise ship.

We are also looking for suggestions on a shuttle company from the hotel to the port. We are a group of 9 so we would prefer a private shuttle.

can you elaborate.  I have a couple of casino offers that are a "reduced rate" (not really) but just have OBC.  Whats the "rule" re stockholder credit?

We have been on three cruises in the last 15 months (with the last one being two weeks ago). They were all casino offers with $750 OBC. I did received the $100 for my stocks for each cruise.

Am booked in 12359 in December.   Would love to hear your thoughts and any photos you might wish to share.

Here are two photo's that my son took. They really liked to room. The balcony was a good size and it was pretty quiet. The location is good since it was in the middle to the two places we frequented (casino and Lido). He noted that the bathroom was a lot smaller than on other ships but he really liked the shower door as opposed to the curtain.

  16. Great review so far. We were on the ship with you and absolutely loved it. It was our first time out of Galveston and we tried it just because it was different. We had been out of every port except New York and San Francisco but typically go out of Florida. We stayed in 12363, an excel suite, and 12357 and 12359 (balconies). We loved the ship also!
