We are booked for the Rome to Rome/Monte Carlo Grand Prix cruise.

Deck - 17

Cabin # - 1720

Class – Sky Loft

Front Starboard, Front Port, Back Starboard, Back Port, Central Park, or Boardwalk - Corner, Port, Crown, aft elevators

Bed near?(balcony or bath) – N/A

Quiet Cabin (With comments on problems. Note if connecting. ) – Some noise from flowrider on balcony, but complete silence in the suite when balcony doors are closed. Connects to #1718

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions or privacy was an issue– Spectacular views of aft, port and starboard. Be sure to watch the sun rise and set into the ocean!

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - GINORMOUS!!!

Was wind a problem? No

Any specific problems with this cabin? Really no complaints

Any other comments? Love that this loft has a window upstairs. A little cramped upstairs, but you get used to it quickly and by Day #2, it really doesn't bother you. I recommend using decks 15 or 16 for crossing to the forward part of the ship when leaving the suite. I tried my best to see inside our suite from the sports deck and really couldn't when the sheers were drawn.

We just got off the Freedom this past Sunday and they did have it on board. DD wanted to make a monkey and I will mention why in my review whenever I get around to doing it but anyhow, she waited too long and decided to do it on the last sea day and by then the black monkeys were all gone. Oh well.

 

I suggest that if anyone wants to create a furry friend that they go early on in the cruise before the inventory runs out.

Did you have to pay extra for it? If so, how much?

Oh, wait... I found it on the April 9th version of the deck plans between smile and the ice cream parlor, just like you said. :)

I think it was going to be a create your own stuffed animal store, sort of like "Build-a-Bear".

I haven't seen it on the most recent deck plans though.
