Checking one more time to see if there will be any others on board this cruise. Hopefully the hurricanes will have died down by the end of October.

Just checking to see if any others will be on this cruise. This will be our 3rd or 4th time on a Halloween cruise. Always a lot of fun!

Hi,
I was just checking to see if there are any other gay people sailing out of Baltimore on October 29, 2017. It should be a fun cruise since it includes Halloween! I hope to see you there.

I will be sailing out of Baltimore on the Carnival Pride Oct 29, 2017. I was wondering if any other guys will be on the same cruise who enjoy hanging out in the sauna and steam room.

I know it is last minute but just thought I would check to see if there were any other gay people going on this cruise. I hope so.
See you all soon.

That would be fun!
Hi Joe,Yes, I posted in the wrong place but couldn't find a way to move it over or delete.

Hi,
My husband (Tim) and I (Joe) will be on that cruise. I posted a thread under the G&L Roll Call sub-forum.
Are you going to dress up for Halloween?

I searched but I didn't see another roll call post for this cruise out of Baltimore. Are there any other LGBT people going on the 2015 Halloween cruise out of Baltimore?

We do have the same booking number and are both listed on the boarding document.
Thanks for your help.

I will become Platinum on my next Cruise (10/31/2015) and, according to Carnival's website you get the VIFP level that you are advancing to for the entire cruise if it happens in the middle of the cruise. So I am going from Gold to Platinum but will be Platinum from the start.
My question is about traveling with a Gold level person. Since Platinum members get priority board can we both board together even though they are Gold? Does anyone have first hand experience with this issue?
Thanks for your help.

I guess I will be the only gay guy on the ship.

I have always gotten FTTF after they were initially sold out. However, I checked everyday, several times a day.
1. Bought on Wednesday (6/17/2015) at 1:22 pm. Sail date 8/2/2015 on Pride.
2. Bought on Friday (6/27/2014) at 7:39 am. Sail date 7/27/2014 on Pride.
3. Saw them available on Monday (2/3/2014) at 2:52 pm. Sail date 3/29/2014 on Breeze.
4. Bought on Thursday (1/30/2014) at 2:05 pm. Sail date 3/29/2014 on Breeze.

Sorry, I may have confused things somewhat because the last time I had a cabana on HMC it was on a Holland America Cruise. On Holland America they let you choose which cabana (by color) that you want when you initially pay for the excursion. They don't make you go to the shore excursion desk when you get on the ship because you already made your selection.
But also, there was no ticket given out as proof as to which cabana you purchased.

I have been to Half Moon Cay several times in the past and rented a Cabana but never encountered the following situation:
On this message board a couple noted that they rented a particular cabana but when they got there it was occupied by another group. The other group claimed it was theirs and that the couple must be mistaken about the cabana number. The couple felt that the group just wanted that particular cabana because there was a hammock tied to a couple trees right next to it.
So my question is, in this situation who do you go to? I know you have to check in at a hut when you first get to HMC and they can tell you what your cabana number is. But is there someone to remove squatters if needed?

Wow, I can't believe there are no other gay people on this sailing.

More "Faster to the Fun" excursions opened on the August 2, 2015 sailing as well.

I wrote to the company that hires the massage therapists. They said, "unfortunately they only have female therapists." I wonder why they don't have at least one male therapist.
:(

I have a question for anyone who has been on the Carnival Pride recently and had a massage in the spa facility. Do they have male massage therapists? I am sailing out August 2, 2015 and would prefer a male but most of them seem to be female.
Thanks.

I am going on the Carnival Pride August 2-9, 2015 out of Baltimore. Has anyone been on the Carnival Pride since it was refurbished? There used to be separate steam room and saunas facilities for men and women which were free. Hopefully it is still the same. I am hoping to find other guys to relax with in the sauna and steam room.
Also, I would like to get a massage but prefer a male massage therapist. Has anyone gotten a massage on the Pride recently and know if they have male massage therapists?
Thanks.

I didn't see a thread for this sailing so I thought I would start one. My husband and I will be on this cruise. I sailed on the Pride last year before it was refurbished. I can't wait to see what changes have been made. I am also looking forward to making new friends.

As Harry mentioned, Half Moon Cay really is about the beach. For me it is anyway. The weather has always been great when I've been there. And having the buffet there is great too.
I hope to see you all at one of the FOD meetings. I might not make it the first night since things are always a little hectic that first night.

Hi,
My husband (Tim) and I (Joe) will be on this cruise. We have sailed on HAL before and a couple of times on this ship. I really enjoy the beach on Half Moon Cay and Orient Beach in St. Martin.
I hope to see you on board.

I know there must be at least a couple of other LGBT friends on this cruise. I can't be the only one. Or maybe I am?
Hope to meet some people at the LGBT meetings on board. Looking forward to tomorrow.
Non-working Refrigerators in Cabins on Carnival Pride
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
We were just on the Carnival Pride for the Halloween cruise. As we usually do, we brought some sodas on board and planned to put them in the refrigerator in the cabin. When we got to the cabin there was a refrigerator but it was empty and not working. We called the front desk to report that the refrigerator was not working and were told that it is a (I forget the exact word they used) thing to keep things at room temperature. Really? You need an appliance for that?
So for the rest of the cruise we had the room steward bring in ice.
Is this a new thing that is taking place on other Carnival ships or just the Pride?
