We will be at Grand Turk on November 19 and are renting from Omar. Even before the hurricane the golf cart have not been perfect, but get us around.   I have been to the island twice before and rented from Karib, but this time he has not responded to any of my emails.  So going to try with Omar has been very responsive already have my reservation and just confirmed it this week. So he has been very responsive.

In the interest of full disclosure, I never felt anyone on the island really was big on the whole customer service thing. Seemed to be a general attitude of 'whatever'.

We used Omar - nothing special but it worked... The golf card was beaten up but it drove.

 

 

 

His web site got hacked by an angry customer and he hasn't seem to have gotten it fixed yet

We are going to be in Aruba for Thanksgiving from 8 am to 4 pm. Does anyone know if the stores etc. will be open?

If you are going to purchase a Rolex from any of the island you are going to visit, I would only buy from an authorized Rolex vendor. You can go to Rolex.com and check the authorized Rolex store at each island and the address/location. That way you can have good warranty and take it to any Rolex dealer. If you buy from any another store other than a Rolex vendor, you will never know if its a true Rolex or have any warranty. Good Luck.

This will be our third time to grand turks and we have always rent a golf cart from Karib and have not had any problems. We book ahead. Our cruise is in November and already been in touch with them and responded quicky, but i just read a few bad reviews lately. I wanted to see if anyone has used them lately they have another gold rental place called max rental. If any one used any latley please provide an update on conditions of the carts. Thank you.

Quick question we leaving next week on the 8 day Breeze, my little one is allergic to milk. We are bring on Almond milk and it's in a 32oz box do you think they will give us any trouble. What are your thoughts.

Leaving out of Miami on the Breeze in 2 weeks:D. I have not been to this port in a long time. My question is debarkation to do self or relax and wait. (Traveling with Husband and a little one). Which one do you prefer, also is it easy to find your luggage at terminal, how is it done now.

My little one is also turning 6 on our cruise (Breeze) in 2 weeks. :D I ordered from Carnival the Birthday package - they will decorate the cabin and comes with small Birthday cake. I also told my Carnival PVP that we will be celebrating his birthday on board and my PVP asked which date we wanted to celebrate we choose to do the day after we come aboard during dinner. They do a piece of cake with a candle (I think) and sing Happy Birthday. And 8 days of Sun and Fun... and a trip to the Candy Store I am sure ;)

How are the cabins, we are leaving in 58 more days and booked balcony on the Lido deck (starboard side). Just wondering what deck and how was your cabin.

I just purchased from Travel guard and max out for medical and evacuation with pre existing, cancel cause and all the other stuff, I still paid less than what Carnival quoted me.

I just purchased with Travel Guard - very professional, answered all the questions, the 4 to 5 times I called ;). I called several other companies but did not provide me with the customer service, it was like pulling teeth to get an answer etc.. I max out medical and evacuation with also pre existing and all the other stuff. For 3 of us it was cheaper than the cruise line price plus alot, alot more coverage. Best thing is to call them and speak with them.

I just purchased - Travel guard very professional and nice. Called several others and it was like pulling teeth to get information and one company I called I was on hold for over 10 minutes. I maxed out with Travel guard medical (100,000) and evac (1 mil) and made sure to have pre existing coverage plus all the other stuff, I am paying for 3 of us $242. (i know a bit much but we all have pre existing and you never know) The cruise line quoted me a bit more for alot less.

Since we live in Fort Lauderdale do not need all the flight delay etc. Main concern is medical of course - here are a few questions cruising the Caribbean

Travel guard- got 1 mil evacuation and $50,000 accident and sickness

Question: should I lower the evacuation and increase the accident and sickness

Question: Any one used Insure and go or Insure Assist.

Any suggestions will be great!

Sailing on Breeze August 15 - picking the Lido deck (balcony aft) not much else available any recommendation on which side is best or cabin #:. Great to have information from previous Breeze cruisers on this deck and cabins. :D

We had Mickey call on Christmas to surprise my 4 yr old. Like Tommyjean said was hard to understand and to me they speak way to fast for kids. But my little one got the surprise and that we are going on the Disney cruise :):)

I am going to schedule the second call the day we leave 16 more days :D

Closer to the date you can schedule a call from Mickey, Mickey and Minnie or even Pluto which will tell them they are going on a Disney Cruise. We are leaving the end of January on our First Disney Cruise and we schedule the call on Christmas morning for my 4 Year old it was great. (only thing Mickey need to slow down when he talks but it was loud and clear to my 4 year old)

Now we are counting down :D

Well we have booked the Disney Magic - I hope by the time we go all the issues will be resolved.

We decided to do interior cabin - we are really never in the room and only need for sleep and getting ready, also is a short cruise.
