One thing about Mach that always made me smile was his big mustache - it was so out of character for an Air Force pilot but it seemed to fit regardless. :)

That made me smile. His "stache" was a big deal to him. :D

Thank you. He had a rough last few years and I'm so thankful he is no longer in pain.

One day at at time. When he went to the hospital on June 9 I never imagined he would never come home. It's tough.

I just wanted to pop in and say thank you for your kind words. We did not post an obituary for personal and private reasons, but yes, Mach passed away on June 26.

First, let me say - WOW - I would not want to choose a favorite. I have enjoyed every minute of all the photos. Some are breathtaking, others just plain fun! My hats off to everyone. I love this thread. I will keep checking to see if others add to it.

This is one of my favorites from our 9-21-08 sailing of the Conquest. M'Ville in MoBay was so much fun. I can't wait to go again next year!
