Can you tell me the price of a shot of Bailey's without a package? I have a classic for my cruise and it says Bailey's is not included... But if a shot is less than 11 dollars I'll just order a shot on the side.

    Hi

The current price for a Baileys on Silhouette us $12.

Steve can you confirm what the package allowances are onboard at the moment.

Presumably as it is out of the UK all prices are inclusive so the bar prices will have gone up to reflect that have the limits gone up too?

    Hi there,

According to the flyer current maximums are:-

    Classic - $11

    Premium - $15.50

    Hope this helps.

  3. So Celebrity is definitely inconsistent.

Currently on Silhouette and the drinks package flyer states the following prices per day:-

    Standard - $59

    Classic - $71

    Premium - $83

Perhaps the pricing depends on the actual area of the world?

But I am digressing. Lerwick proved to be a very interesting town. We passed a small sign telling us that a right hand turn would take us to the Ro Ro Ferry. I didn’t know if this was an actual name or if the sign was just too small to add the two “w’s”. But, as I was now avoiding right hand turns we never learned what a Ro Ro ferry was.

    Hi SailorJack,

To put you out of your misery................Ro Ro stands for Roll On Roll Off Ferry.

  5. Lizzy would have been AM then.

Tim Connor was supposed to be on there and he fits that description as well, although Mark was due to join on May 20th as AM. Maybe he stepped up for a sailing. Thanks for the info.

    Hi Joe,

We were on the same cruise and CD was definitely Tim Connor and AM was Lizzy.

Tim did a fantastic 70s night (they appear to have installed another bridge across the Royal Promenade that comes down from the ceiling - at least we never saw it before) and Rock Britannia.

  6. Hi everyone,

This is aimed at those who would have cruised on Splendida this past winter and visited Bahrain and Doha although if anyone else knows the answer then please feel free to contribute.

I am trying to find out how accessible the shuttle buses are at these ports as my wife is wheelchair bound and cannot manage any stairs. I understand that in both ports you are unable to walk to the port gates yourselves due to the industrial nature of the ports. I have tried searching online but there is precious little information available on the web about facilities at these ports.

If anyone observed what the situation is , or even experienced it for themselves, I would be grateful if you could share this. Any photos of the buses would be amazing if you have them.

    Thanks in advance,

    Steve

  7. Hi,

Thank you for your reply. I think I was not specific enough with my question. What I was trying to ask was whether the shuttle buses from the side of the ship to the port gates were wheelchair friendly.

And yes, I have done extensive internet searches to try to find the answer to this but with no success.

    Cheers

  8. Hi,

My wife and I are planning to cruise the Middle East next year and one of the stops is Bahrain. Does anyone have any up to date information or experiences related to being able to get off the ship and in to the city if wheelchair bound? We have experience of Muscat where you are forced to use the bus to get to the port gates and it is certainly not accessible.

Does any one know if the buses in Bahrain are accessible? Does anyone know of a company that is allowed to pick up and drop off at the side of the ship?

Any information would be gratefully received.

    Cheers

  9. Hi there,

I have a related question. What is the actual rule? Is it that you allowed 2 bottles of wine per cabin? Or is it that you are allowed 1 bottle each with a maximum of 2 bottles per cabin.

The reason I ask is that we are cruising with our 27 year old nephew in May and he is in a single occupancy cabin (even though he paid 2 cruise fares for the privilege!!). Is he allowed to bring on 2 bottles?

    Cheers

  10. Hi,

Our US travel agent has been trying for the last 2 months to get a refund of our deposit paid to MSC for a cruise next March 2018. With NO success so far.

Does anyone have the email address of Customer Services for MSC in USA please? I cannot find it on their website.

Thanks in advance if you can help.

    Cheers

    Steve
