FTTF is sold out and we don't have priority boarding
FTTF may open back up as the cruise date gets closer. Check VERY early the day after final payments are due. Then check back often. Someone on your roll call may also post if it opens.
The day after final payment openings sold out very fast for us, but just a few days ago it opened up again. They release a number of FTTF based on the number of platinum and diamond guests booked.

I read somewhere that not only can you purchase bottled drinking water to be delivered to your room, you can also have distilled water delivered to use in your CPAP. I, however, cannot find any information to support that on Carnival's website.
Does anybody have any experience to share?
Thank you

wow that's quite a savings. We just got a $40 price drop but I keep looking for more.
How did you get your $40? Do you call your rep? What is the process?
Thank you

I have already learned so much from you guys! Good idea on buying gift cards thru AARP...
AARP has Carnival cards right now. They sell out fast.

I have never heard of this, but we are doing the Magic in July for my kids graduation present. We are neighbors, You HAVE to let me know how the Magic & tasting bar was. (Live in Canton she is a "Park" senior")
Boy we ARE neighbors, aren't we. (waving to you from Plymouth)

Thank you, can't wait to see them.

Why would you want to wait until you got on the ship to order it? I am pre-ordering it to make sure I get water and it will be waiting for me when I get to the cabin. It has been said that there is no guarantee they won't run out of bottled water to sell you so best to order it ahead of time.

If no one else posts them, I will make sure to take pics when we go on Oct 15.

Enjoy!
Thank you! I've been looking for reviews of Carnival Magic 7283. Did the lights from the deck below interfere with evening water views? Was there noise from the deck below?

My wife and I will be in San Juan on Sunday Aug 28 from 3PM to 11 PM we are planning on touring 1 of the forts and then having dinner , we are looking for a restaurant to go to and have Mofango for dinner within walking distance from either the cruise port or the forts that has authentic PR food that will not break the bank , does anyone have any specific recommendations ?
So what did you end up doing and how was it?

Does anybody have the Fun Times or Menus from the Magic 7-day Eastern Caribbean? (Port Canaveral, Amber Cove, St. Thomas, San Juan, Grand Turk) I'd sure love to see them.

I saw that there is a "tasting bar" on the Magic. Does anybody have any detailed information about it?

So you feel a lot more motion with an aft cabin?

Bring a bingo dobber if you have one. If not, they're 2 dollars or you can get one part of the $40 bingo package.
Do you recall what you get in that $40 bingo package?

How did you get those onboard in one piece? They look fragile

How did you get that onboard without it breaking? It looks very fragile.

I too collect sea glass. Thanks for the tips for GT. The smaller islands we've been to in Fiji have been a gold mine! :)
Anyway, thought I would just share my latest find to display my sea glass. It looks really great in these, especially if you can find some other colors other than the white and green.
You can also get these blocks at Hobby Lobby and they go 50% off every other week.

I was interested in doing the Mountain Air Helicopter Tour excursion, but now I can't find the excursion. Does anybody know if they stopped operating in Grand Turk?
Thanks

We like to experience an area through their cuisine. Where are the best places in Old San Juan to have a quintessential Puerto Rican meal and what should we order? What about PR treats, any suggestions for those?
Thank you

Seems like a lot to me too, it's only about 6 mi /9 Km, takes about 13 minutes on Google maps to the mountain. Anywhere else in the Caribb that would be about $10-15. We want to take it to the cable car and hike up Mt. Isabel. I saw somewhere that as usual, the cabs at the dock are expensive, and if you walk outside the dock area they are much cheaper. That's the way it was in P. Valarta, cab to town was $10 at the dock, $5 about 1/3 mile out at the highway plaza, and locals/residents even got it for $2 from the Walmart plaza there. The Riu Resort complex right next to the Amber Cove dock probably has lots of cabs. Has anyone else checked out the cabs?

That is because they have to be registered to enter the cruise area to pick up patrons. Carnival has to get their piece of the pie.

We had a pool cabana at amber cove. We LOVED it. The pool is awesome. We also did the water slides and zip lines. All are right there at the pool.
Do you think the zipline is good for beginners?

Nobody scheduled for the Magic after October. I guess we will be surprised.
Any tips on how to find out who the CD is when it gets closer

When traveling I like to try "the" dish of the area, which, I have determined, is mofongo in Puerto Rico. Where can I find the best representation of the dish and which kind is the best to order? I would also love to hear about other things that must be tried.
Thanks!
