  1. It's not parking for a cruise - usually for the airport - but you certainly can park there to go where ever you need in the Boston area....they have a shuttle from Logan Express to the airport for an additional $9.00 per person each way...you could shuttle to the airport and then arrange RCL shuttle to the port to the airport...but taking an Uber from Logan express to the port would be more direct....Logan Express has been a game changer for me now allowing flying out of Boston as an option vs PVD....traffic situation into Boston is insane...parking there and shuttling to the airport cuts out the worst of the traffic out....

  2. Logan Express in Braintree is (I believe) $7.00 per day to park.  You could the grab an Uber to the port (approx 11 miles) …If arriving the day before, right around the corner from Logan Express is a Hyatt -

when we flight out of Boston, this is what we do. Park there because between Braintree and the airport and cruise port is the worst traffic. Call to verify the per day parking rate but that is what we paid last October.

  3. Thank you for posting. I use Trip Advisor consistently for reviews and the local forums to areas I will be visiting.

Noticed quite a bit of buzz lately about this very subject. Glad I was able to finally read the story.

Recently I was surprised to find that within a Mexico forum that the alcohol poisoning and blackouts situation was allowed to be posted without issue. I appreciated the knowledge since I will be traveling to that area and although it will not stop me from going, I will be much more proactive.

As always it is important to realize that travel, unfortunately , is not always about rainbows and unicorns. Bad things can happen...Maybe Trip Advisor is finally gets it or the internet is just not letting this go away for them..

  4. My husband & I will be arriving in Skagway via the Radiance 5/29 - 7:30 am - 8:30 pm

Have rented a car and just need to know if to Muktuk Adventure for the "Taste of Yukon" lunch will be worth the drive.

We understand it is approx 3 hours each way but we like what they offer (dog interaction and lunch).

Has anyone have any input on this? It appears to have everything we are looking for with this type of excursion less the cruise tour crowd. Is this worth the 9 hours total (including travel time) and no need to worry to make it back to the ship on time ?

  5. Flying in from the east coast we are arriving the day before for our Radiance cruise. Arriving @ 2:30 pm

Our hotel downtown has both an airport shuttle and a train shuttle. Already booked the 6:45 am train the next morning and expect to enjoy Seward until cruise check in time.

We are fine with booking the early train on our own without going thru RCL.

  6. Thanks for the heads up about the increase. Went back to double check my booking to verify we did in fact already have our gratuities prepaid. I did the math, and we were over charged by approx $50.00 (total for both of us). We booked the first day opened for Alaska 2017 C & A members. We are getting it corrected by Royal.

  7. Just booked the Seaside for 5/19/18.

Fantastica inside. Online only showing 4 cabin choices & one deck.

Called direct, & got the deck & cabin we wanted.

Thanks for advise to call direct and not to book on line.

My agent told me she had 400(?) insides available to book but yet the

    website only gives 4 choices.l

  8. Was there last Wednesday. If possible, bring own snorkel gear.

Rental fee for (2) people for masks, fins and locker rental - $50.00.

Had brought own towels, and water shoes.

Plenty of chaise loungers and room. To the best of my knowledge, no other people from either of the cruise ships in port were there. No pressure to to purchase food/drinks from the bar but why not ? After snorkeling, we enjoyed a good sized glass of wine and an ice tea for only $8.00 (not including tip).

$11.00 taxi ride (+tip) each way. Snorkeling was awesome and lots of fish.

Best part - we could leave whenever we were done and not committed to any time frame.

Stopping in Cozumel again next cruise and plan on heading to the Money Bar once again with own gear but will be enjoying the restaurant/bar longer.

  9. Agree about the amount to time for the entire excursion.

After some discussion, we just cancelled today. Per Carnival, the excursion runs from 1:30 - 8:30 (approx). To much running around, making for a long day.

This is our third visit to the area and I'm sure we'll plan to do this on a land vacation.

  10. Have this excursion booked on the Carnival Ecstasy in September.

Lunch is included. Has anyone done this and know where the lunch is or

perhaps it changes up with every excursion ?

Any thoughts on this excursion would be welcomed as well.

We understand that there is no time for shopping which is fine since we have been to this area a few times.
