  1. We were on Anthem on a back to back this past October and we received nothing from RCCL. We went to the casino hostess asking for a drink coupon and she said we were not on the list that M Life sends them. We then asked her to call them if she needs to and asked if she needed our m life numbers. The hostess replied, no she didn't need them but just so We knew that m life really wasn't returning their calls. We never received a call back from the casino. If I were you I'd call M Life and let them know when your sailing.

  2. We are new to Celebrity and I'd like to know if the Wi Fi package the we received will operate in our stateroom? Sorry to be so ignorant but on all our last cruise's it was and I just want to make sure that I can use my IPad in the stateroom. Thanks in advance for your help.

  3. How would they know to contact you from these posts? Is your screen name also your birth name? Are you sure it's not because you keep contacting them directly?

You are correct. It just seemed odd that I didn't receive anything until I posted on this site. My calling the Concierge Desk was only prompted by them, as they called me first asking if I would like assistance in planning air travel, hotels ect. and left a number to call them back.

Oh well, I have used another avenue for air arrangements and I'm looking forward to a great cruise.

  4. Well, just wanted to let all of you know that someone from Celebrity is really reading these posts. Today I received two emails twith the complete details on their guarantee policy. Lol! I am happy to see they are pay attention.

  5. I called CA and it is clear that one must book with them and within 24 hours provide verifiable proof of the lower fare from a U.S. website. This is for the same flight, same 'class of service' etc.. Then one will receive 110% in OBC.

How difficult is this to understand? Either you want the credit OR the actual lower fare. If lower fare, then book where you find it.

The policy is legal as you have the option to book or not book. How are they to know you found a lower fare against the same 'class of service' on the same flight etc...

You have nothing to lose by booking and paying for the lower fare you found on the website you found it and not CA

I say book your lower fare and be done with it if CA is not co-operating as you wish they do.

It is reasonable to posit that thousands of other passengers have been mostly satisfied with CA service and guarantee, so far. I can see the nightmare CA can have with everytime someone says they have found a cheaper fare etc, the research and verification process to only find that it is not apples to apples...

In fact I think one can find the fare basis and flight info before final payment print it out then shut the website down and do a like for like comparison. That should be easy, unless I Am missing something in that process.

This would be a CA policy and not cruise line, to be sure

Just wanted to let you know that I talked to choice air and then I called Celebrity Concierge Desk and talked to Amy. She did look up the price difference that I was looking at and offered me a OBC for the difference. My point is still the same. This is not the lowest price guarentee they have in print. OBC so Celebrity still gets the money, what kind of deal is that?

  6. Don't you feel like Celerbrity Cruise Lines did not do what their ad told you they would do? Of course, I got my same flight for almost eight hundred dollars less? I'm not going to call again an give this booking to choice air. That would not be fare to the company that gave me this price but Choice Air should have had it or at the very least looked into it. That a lot of savings.

  7. We need to do more than not use them again. Guaranteed lowest price should be the standard that they are held too as that is in their ad. I can not believe this is legal and should be reported. For Choive Air to lose one or two customers is nothing to them. For Choivce Air to face a Legal challenge is something that will make things change.

  8. On one-way long hauls to Europe or Asia, extraordinary. Sometimes prices half, a third or less than airline prices.

On short haul round trips domestically, virtually the same prices as the airlines.

I agree, most of our travel is one way to Europe and the price is great but it still states the lowest price guaranteed! They either own that or it can not be part of their ad. I'm very unhappy to the company not owning up to their promise.

  9. Hi!

I'm interested to know what your experience is with Choice Air? Recently I have received several emails that state lowest price guaranteed on Choice Air . I have spent more time than I care to admitt to on an upcoming cruise with choice air. They were much higher than the airlines or even Expedia. I called Celebrity Concierge Desk to question this and after many calls and time , a supervisor who said she was named DJ said they could not give me the price of the airlines unless I booked the higher price with them and then showed them the difference. REally? I don't think this is legal! She would not even check on her own, it was up to me to prove it was less somewhere else. I will report this to the better business beauru as that is not what their ad states.

Let me know your experience on pricing has been.

  10. Only correction to the list that was provided is that there is no Pet's at Sea Coupon, there will be a BOGO Milkshake for Johnny Rockets and the internet discount has changed. Each D+ Member will get 2 days (or 2 24 hour consecutive sessions) of internet use or you can apply the discount amount to a package.

Is the discount amount 25% on the internet or has that changed also?

  11. I agree that this is a terrible set back for the D+ members. We have spent a lot of money with RCCL to get into the CC Lounge and now we have been kicked out. Really? We have a B to B coming up on Allure and if we were not booked with other people, I would cancel and spend my money with another cruise lines. They give it and also take it away.

  12. Can anyone tell me what is in the coupon books (now on your sea pass cards) for the TA and the prior 7 night for Diamond Plus members on the Allure? I'm wondering what the amount of the internet coupon/credit is and if they still offer the BOGO at Chops the first night? Also is Wi Fi in the staterooms?

Thanks in advance for your help.

  13. Why not, its still there, both levels deck11/12. Just has a new name on the outside.

We were on the Oasis last year and loved the CL for lunch and a glass of wine. This is not going to happen on the Allure or Oasis anymore. The area is very nice but not as nice as the CL on the new Allure. Lets face it, RCCL is downgrading the Diamond Plus after they have been loyal to Royal and we will all have to make our own decisions if we chose other cruise lines.

  14. Crusin Nut, we are on the same B2B with you. We did not get any notification about being able to use only the Diamond/Diamond Plus room (now referred to as the Diamond Club). If the changes are the same as Oasis was in Feb. The Diamond Club does not serve breakfast (they do have pastries and fruit) or any lunch. It is opened from 5:00 to 8:30 for free cocktails. In Feb. it was not crowded at any time we were there, 5:00, 5:30, 6:00, or 7:00. We went there around show times. However, during the TA I think that will change and they will need to have another lounge like they did on the Allure April TA. Just my humble opinion, however.

    Barb,

This is the e-mail we received 10 days ago. We are D+ and were looking forward to the CL. Guess not!

    Best regards,

    Cecilia Sanguinetti

P.S. I did let them know what I thought of their enhancements.

  15. We have been on Oasis and Allure a number of times. Terminal 18 is where you will be and it is set up well. We just park there in the surface lot next to the ship for $15/day. Why?

We always do Express Walkoff and get off the ship around 6:15AM in the morning with our luggage.

This parking is so easy, you can walk from lot with your luggage and carry on board (go through document check, x-ray, check in at pier, and board). Or you can drop off luggage and just come around the corner from luggage drop off and just park. We get to the port around 10:30 AM and usually find a space within the first 25 spaces in the first few rows.

No waiting for shuttles, no waiting for other passengers, no lugging your luggage on and off the shuttle. Yes, it costs a little more than Park & Go but we have done both and now just park at Terminal 18.

Thanks to everyone for all of your information. I'm sure one of these will work just fine.

  16. Highly recommend Park & Go which is located right at the Port. I got a great rate by pre-booking online. Their service was prompt and courteous!!

I found them by the many recommendations they received on these boards.

I will definately use them every time we sail from FLL.

Thank you so much. Were you able to self park and not leave your keys?

  17. I called the number provided which was a Club Royale/RCCL and was told that if I receive Crown and Anchor benefits, the MLife benefits could not be added to my reservation -- "no double dipping".

I too am D+ and my TA called and had the MLife benefits added to our upcoming booking. (I had received an E-Mail from Mlife.) I received a call back from our TA several days later stating that because we received the D+ balcony discount we could not get both. The TA said that because we are on a cruise between Sept and Dec. that we could drop the D+ discount on our balcony and that they would give us about 400.00 off ((the value of a free three night cruise)). The drinks and restaurents we could not get. It all sounded so mixed up and who knows what they will tell us tomorrow. I will check into it when we are on board.
