I just wonder how miserable their lives are when not onboard the ship...
I wonder why they would want to pay to have such a terrible time..maybe even if they are having a miserable time, the life they have at home is worse?
I guess some people just live to complain..
I figure no matter what goes wrong I would rather be on a Cruise ship!

Thank you so much for the great photos...Son was not too happy about going..(His is 16- he hates everything) but the pictures made him actually WANT to go!!

A convenience store where you can buy reasonably priced soda, snacks and booze!
Yes! a 7-11 would be a must! OR a WAWA

:)We have learned many things on our last 6 cruises::)
Over the door shoe bag is a MUST!
Night light
Surge protector power bar
Small night light, and flashlight
Pack all the clothes you think you will need, then remove a third
Some ships have coin laundry- Use IT!
On longer cruises I pack in suitcase the laundry
tablets you can now buy-(If NOT flying to port).
Rolls of quarters
List of all medications you are taking, with the correct medical names
Several feet of duct tape wound around used gift card
Magnets or tacky stuff- handy to leave notes for family member as to where you arelocated on the ship...
Post its, pens pencils etc. -
Not me but.....My younger daughter, everywhere she goes, she takes pictures of toilets..started as a joke, since she is engaged to a plumber!
Older daughter travels everywhere with a little stuffed dog...and I mean everywhere! She is 29:rolleyes:
We always go out to a special dinner the night before we leave for any vacation, nice to calm down and have a few minutes of quiet time.

Try attaching heavy duty magnets to the back with glue gun. The doors, I believe are metal.

I'm really!! hooked on Patricia Cornwell's novels; the Kay Scarpetta line. I think I'm on #6.
Fortunately I have them saved on my Sony digital reader, so I don't have to worry about the weight of books in my luggage.
Also love Cornwell, but Really LOVE Patterson.. I always bring a book if I can, although through the library on the Explorer I read the several Father Dowling Mysteries that were on board...a very easy read.
Nothing like a lounge on the deck, a "drink of the day" in my hand and a good book......AHHHH my idea of cruising, I don't care if I never go into port!:p

I just purchased a big package of Easter themed decorations from a party store and Heavy duty magnets for our Easter cruise on the Ruby. We have two doors to decorate this trip. I personalize the decorations using lettering printed on computer at home on Transparency sheets. Name, home town etc...Makes it sooo easy to locate rooms!

At the dollar bins at Target we found tubes of glow necklaces and bracelets. we are going to take them for the kids to have at night.
Also palm tree notes, stickers etc, to make a wsign for the cabin door.
