We have sailed Halloween before but it was on Embarkation Day! So no problem! Halloween Cruise, was our favorite time to sail yet!

We are on the Glory, October 28th through November 5th! We can't wait!

Hey, we are cruising on the, Carnival Glory Oct. 28th through Nov. 5th. I know that Elegant night is usually on the sea days! BUT Halloween is on a sea day! I guess I can do a Elegant costume lol! Is there a possibility of them changing elegant night!

We have sailed from Miami, Florida, Jacksonville, Florida & Fort Lauderdale, Florida. All during hurricane season. I have never had any bad weather on any cruise yet! I have though gotten sea sick on my second cruise. I am not prone to motion sickness though! As a matter of fact we had not even left Miami, when I began feeling a bit dizzy headed and weak in the stomach! I never really got sick. I just felt ill! We were on the Destiny, (Now The Sunshine) we were leaving from Miami, at 4:00 PM. The ship had just come out of dry dock, and and between loading things on the ship and some other things it was delayed until about 9:00 PM! The sights of Miami, from a cruise ship deck is amazing, Daytime or Nighttime. Nighttime was very nice with lights of Miami, but the ship was facing the port so it had to turn around in the port! Watching the Lights on a moving ship. made me ill! after lunch the next day I was fine! I have never had any ill effects while at sea!

Yes they do have decorations for Halloween. They have costume contest. we sailed on The Facination one year at Halloween and it is my favorite cruise to date! ( Every cruise I have been on is GREAT!) We are booked on The Carnival Glory, for this Halloween! Embarkation date, October 29th,2016. 7 Day cruise to Half Moon Cay, Bahama's, San Juan, Puerto Rico, St.Thomas, Virgin Islands and Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos Islands. I would book a Halloween Cruise again! My favorite time to cruise!

Hi there! I have only been about 5 cruise. I have been on the Fascination twice! My very first cruise was on her! I have been on 3 other Carnival Ships, As previous poster said,she does not have the 2.0 upgrade like Guy's Burgers, but still love this ship! Will sail on her again if given the chance from a close port. Our first cruse was to Cozumel, leaving from Miami, Fla.across the Gulf of Mexico this was a smooth trip.We enjoyed it enough to keep going on Carnival. Being our first cruise, I believe, most any cruise ship would have impressed us! We sailed on her again 3 cruises later out of Jacksonville, Florida. This cruise was as good as the first! We did feel the motion a bit more this time around! I am not sure why. Maybe because we were in the Atlantic Ocean, going to the Bahama's. Maybe the Sea was a bit rougher. It did not look rough though! Beautiful weather on both cruises! Basically, at one point we felt like we took two steps forward and one step to the side to keep our balance! Great Cruise's on this ship! The other Ships we have been on are the Destiny (before the remake to the Sunshine), The Freedom. and soon to come the Glory! :) WE have not been on any other cruise lines or any of the real new ship! Some people love the smaller ships better & some prefer the bigger ships.The Destiny and the Freedom are bigger and we enjoyed them just as much! But enjoyed both our cruises on the Fascination, really well! Hope to sail her again someday!

I will also let you know next year! Will retire July 3rd, 2016. Have a cruise already booked for Halloween, That year! I Can't wait!! Ready to say bye bye to a job after 30 years! I am sure I will miss it, but I think I will survive! :)

Just got off the Freedom, with early saver, we upgraded twice! First time from an OV to a Balcony the next time upgraded to a Lido Deck Balcony! Only had to pay $20 more in taxes for the first upgrade nothing for second! Had a Blast tooo! Also had $60 on board credit!

Hi all! Wife & I were on this same cruise, and we have the Fun Times, for all five days! I have not scanned them yet! I will in a day or so and let you know, I am not sure where I could post all 5 days worth!

I personally had the same problem this year. My PVP, who took over for the one I had last year, called for about 3 days in a row! I finally told him that I would be online checking regularly, until I decided what ship and dates I wanted! I told him not to waste his time calling, that I would call him when I was ready! I have not received a call from him unless I called with a question or was ready to book! He has been Great though! Try that with yours!

Our Old PVP never called before or after! Not sure why he is not with them any more. But one called me before I booked this years cruise, I guess when he saw me Online, and offered any help I needed! At the time I was just getting an idea of what Itinerary,and I told him that! A few days later, I was online and he called again! I let him know that I would be looking at the sire daily until I decided, told him when I decided and at what point I was ready to book! So I did not get a call from him everyday! he was very nice and easy to deal with! We finally decided when we wanted to go and gave him a call! he helped us book, and has been available anytime I need info! When prices dropped, (a balcony for the same price as my ocean view was!) I called him in about 3 minutes, he upgraded me to a balcony! Had to pay $17.00 in taxes! I am glad I got a new PVP! :)

We are booked on the Freedom Sept.22, 2014, and we booked an ocean view room under early saver,the price of a Balcony (a different category) had dropped to the same price, I call my PVP and he upgraded us to a Balcony! We only had to pay about $17.00 worth of Taxes more! Was well worth it!

I have taken 5 cruise and have only experienced seasickness on one of them! The 6 day cruise to Jamica, left Miami, 4 hours late! So it left at dark! The ship was facinginto the port! They had to do a complete circle to leave port! The lights of Miami, ar beautifull at night from the ship! But when they started turning, my head started to turn also! lol it didn't take long for me to dig out the Dramamine! It worked fine, since I took i so late in the evening, I didn't really feel sleepy, or any side effects from the meds! Felt much better the next day! My advice, definatley take something with you. (Dramamine, Bonine, or other meds just be prepared! I would have enjoyed my first evening on that cruise, much more without the dizzy feeling!

Our first cruise we spent almost $200.00, on photos! BUT, we didn't spend more than $250.00, on the entire cruise! Also, we didn't Drink alcohol, or gamble! Saved big there! We have only spent close to $200.00, on one other cruise, and we had onboard credit that we figured was extra. So we bought more souveniers on board and in ports! I have never ate in one the "Extra Charge" Supper Clubs! May have to try that soon! As was said if you can pay Gratuuities upfront, and save up money for parking! Since I live close to a port (2 Hour Drive) I don't have flying exspense! One more thing if you drink Sodas, they do have soft drink packages, for the whole cruise! I have used this once and it was worth the cost! On Carnival, They allow you to bring a certain amout of soft drinks per person in carry on bags! Check website for more info on this!!

My wife and I have sailed from Jacksonville, twice! I have always parked at the port ($15 per day charge). We have always arrived by 1:00 P.M.

The first time we were on board by a little after 2:00 PM. Which was not bad! The second time we actualy booked "Faster To The Fun" ($50.00 per stateroom). This proved to be a great deal for us! We arrived around 12:10 P.M. We we on the Lido deck eating Lunch before 1:00 and we had already went to our room and drop off carry on bags first thing! Our room was ready when we borded! After Lunch, all of our Luggage was at our room by 2:00 pm. So we were able to enjoy the ship without lugging carryons around or worrying about checked bags! Also using guest services you can jump to the front of the line, and also get prioriy boarding for tender boat ports! Have been to all the ports from Jacksonville, and have enjoyrd everyone of them! The ship is great, I have sailed on The Fascination, three times, Once from Miami, (Our very first cruise) and twice from, Jacksonville! Had a blast all 3 cruises!

Music Asia, was the name of the four asian guys! They were really great they also did "Freebird" very good! And Journey! Most any of the hair bands! They were just great!

Were on the Fascinationm 7 years ago! They played, everything from the Beatles to more Rock Stuff like Kiss, Bon Jovi! Seemed like the harder rock they played the better they got! But they were very talented!
