Not on Mariner. The lifeboats are hanging above deck 4. The only "obstructed" balconies are on the aft, but the obstruction is the ship's superstructure. Aft balconies are actually my favourite on that class of ship.
I absolutely love after balconies as well and will always pay to pick one.

Yes, that’s what we do.Thank you! I haven't cruised in a bit (6 years) so I wanted to make sure!

One device at a time.
Thank you! I haven't cruised in a while so I wanted to make sure.

Is the internet package tied to an actual device or just a log in? Wondering if my husband and I can use on our phones as long as we log out. Thank you.

I have tried to search but the terms 'dress' and 'dining' bring up SO many threads and none were what I wanted. It has been a while since I've been on RCL and have not cruised at all the past six years 😞 Are dress shorts and polo shirt acceptable for men in the dining room on non formal nights? I assume on formal night, long pants and a button down shirt (no jacket/tie) will be acceptable, correct?
Thanks!

We are going March 2018. I have been on just about all of the Fantasy class ships I think! My cruising buddy for this trip can't go for longer than 4 days so we don't have that many choices. We decided on the Victory.
-
Thanks! That all makes sense. I didn't even look to see weekend vs weekday.

I've been on the Sensation (and her sister ships) before refurbishment but have not been on Victory. If Victory is a larger ship, why is the same itinerary more expensive on the Sensation? Any reason to book Sensation over the Victory?
I'm going with a friend that is limited to only a 4-night cruise so the two I've narrowed it down to are the Victory and Sensation.
My most recent cruises were on the Breeze, Sunshine, and NCL Getaway and I loved those (except not enough 'quiet spaces' on the Sunshine in which to sit and read).
Thanks!

The thing I did not like about the Sunshine was the lack of outdoor spaces (or indoor with a window) to sit and read. If you are not a reader and don't want to sit and look at the ocean you probably won't notice. Other than that the ship was very nice. The Breeze has many more relaxing spaces where you can see the ocean as do the smaller ships (lounges not in use during the day, etc.). We didn't find many of those kinds of areas on the Sunshine.

62 cabins in total. On deck 5, there are 24 lanai cabins, 12 inside and 4 suites. On deck 6, there are 10 balcony. On deck 7, there are 10 balcony and 2 inside. The balconies on decks 6 & 7 are 4 corner wrap around and 16 aft.
Thank you!!

This showed a king bed. I have not found a video that showed 2 twins.

I know I read it somewhere but can't find it! How many Havana cabins are there? I know the Havana area is never really crowded, but I'd still like to know how many have access to it. Thank you.
-
Does anyone know how they set up the 2 twins in this cabin? Most of the time the beds have been perpendicular to each other but on the Sunshine they just pulled the two beds apart and tucked the covers into each bed. So I was still was sleeping right next to my daughter rather than our beds being separate beds. I will be on the Vista for the first time and wondering how that layout will be.

I LOVE Eggs Benedict with salmon but also love to eat breakfast on my balcony. Am I able to go to the dining room and take my food to go? Has anyone done this?
Thanks!

Does anyone know how to rent one of the large beach villas? I don't see it listed as an excursion.
Thanks!

I am working with the ship and the 'office' and did not want to bother them by asking for the pictures. They are not necessary for us to perform the work - I wanted them so I have an idea of what condition the bolts are in. Was just hoping someone was on the ship and could snap a few pics! :-) Not sure what you mean by a ship visit.

BUMPING...hoping someone will see it :-)

Lol, now THERE'S a request I've never seen before! Usually it's stuff like, "could anyone take a picture of the menu each night and post them when you get back" :)
It definitely is a unique one! :-)
-
I'm not on it but I do have a suggestion. Join and post on one of the roll call pages, make sure you get them ALL "if you know what I mean" :)
I found one of them and posted already - thank you!!! :-)

This sounds crazy but I promise it's legit lol.
I have an urgent request for anyone on board the Triumph now. My company is going to be resurfacing the water slide during dry dock and I am hoping someone can send me a picture of what the bolts holding the slide sections together look like. It looks like you can stand at the back of the slide and get close enough to the low section to see. I'd really like to see the condition of the bolts.
Thank you if anyone can do this for me! It's like pulling teeth to get pictures from Carnival lol as I am dealing with the 'office' staff, not the maintenance crew obviously.

I never said I wasn't going to follow any rules. Why is everyone assuming that's what I asked to do. Go back and read my question. I just wanted to know if my almost 18 y/o could go into the serenity area. I also then just explained WHY I was asking (why he doesn't want to go hang out with kids he doesn't know).
-
I think it is great that you asked this question!
I've seen families with young children sitting in Serenity who get annoyed when asked if they have read the sign which says 21+!
I doubt if anyone would say anything to a quiet family group with older teens.
It's not even a 'group' of teens I'm asking about. It's one high-school senior who wants to sit quietly and read with his mother and adult sister. Ok, typing that out it looks weird LOL! He's a quiet kid, has his friends at home/school but...believe it or not actually enjoys spending time with his mother and sister on vacation.
Does RCL let you embark 'first' if you show them you have earlish flight?

LOL yes I mean debarking! Sorry, been a day already! And I did not think it was a problem AT ALL but my coworker is freaking out (company cruise). Thank you!
