I'm booked for the 11 day round trip out of Seattle in mid-August 2018 as a single. I know - no single suppliments. Can anyone tell me if the prepaid gratutities will be double for me since I am travelling alone?

We are leaving 6/29 on Regatta for 11 nite cruise to Alaska. The advance weather report for all ports indicates "Showers" - not "Scattered Showers." I expected rain, but this really bothers me. We've put so much thought and effort into this trip - it kinda breaks my heart. Any thoughts on how to deal with it?

I have tried many times to get a breakdown of all fees and charges through my TA. Forget it! O will not fess up. Seems that they don't have to provide that information.

I also believe that the fees are excessive; on the other hand what is the total cost of the cruise? The latter should be more important than a breakdown of all the charges.Depends on what is important.

Who knows? Maybe someone will prevail in getting the requested breakdown. Don't count on it!!

DW & I sailed on the FairSky during her maiden season (1984). Fourteen days round trip out of SF to Alaska. The captain was very young, and from what we could ascertain, was promoted to the front office shortly thereafter. Any one remember his name?

Host Doug - we have many pictures taken by the on board photographers during the period 1981 - 1989. I'll dig them out and try to scan them. Also, we sailed on a Xmas -New Years sailing from Auckland to Sydney (1988 - 1989) when Princess first took over Sitmar. Chaos reigned!!
