We are booked on 3 b2b cruises starting Sept. 15, 2018 and I am still not able to make reservations at La Reserve. We’re in an Oceania suite and I was told we could book reservations at 90 days. I've called Oceania twice and they keep telling "any day now." Should I be able to make reservations by now?

La Reserve is posted for pax on the cruise Nov 1-13.

It is NOT up for those of us doing the B2B Nov 1-27 as a single booking.

 

They claim they'll sort it.

In the fall we will be on 3 b2b cruises that were combined as a 31 night cruise by Oceania. How are tips handled for this type, at the end of each segment or at end of cruise? Should we do the extra tip at end of each segment?

We did the Rocky Mountaineer from Lake Louise to Vancouver in 2016 during a road trip across the US and Canada. It was lovely and we saw some beautiful scenery, the food was wonderful and the narration by the guides informative. Overnight accommodations were so, so but you’re not in the room very long. I’m not sure we would have enjoyed the train as much at the end of a cruise since much of the time you are eating. If I were booking this as an add-on, I’d try to book it pre-cruise. Two days on the train was enough! You’re sitting almost all day.

My brother and SIL drove the car instead of taking the train. They enjoyed the drive and scenery. Hope this helps.

Has anyone used ExactCare? It’s a Berkshire Hathaway policy and seems like the same thing as Travelex Select (also underwritten by BH). ExactCare is secondary for medical and Travelex is primary, and more money for the same coverage. Wondering if anyone has experience with claims using ExactCare?
