  1. We are booked on a 15 day Panama Canal cruise out of San Pedro. The ship is coming from Vancouver with passengers on a 19 day canal cruise and also passengers on a 4 day coastal cruise. It will pick us up in San Pedro for the 15 day canal cruise and disembark the 4 day passengers. I would think that only a small number of passengers would be disembarking in San Pedro so ship turnover should be quick. Do you think we would be able to board the ship earlier than normal being that we don't have to wait for lots of passengers to disembark or for all the rooms to be made up ?

  2. My question is whether the FCC may be applied to any 7+ day 2014 cruise that is not yet paid in full at the "time of booking" the promotional qualifying cruise or may the FCC only be applied to any 7+ day 2014 cruise that is not yet paid in full at "completion" of the promotional qualifying cruise.

My TA spoke with Princess and the part of my original question above in bold print appears to be the policy for this promotion. My interpretation would therefore be that the FCC could only be applied to a 2014 7+ day cruise that would sail at least 75 days after the completion of the qualifying cruise. If anyone finds something to the contrary please post.

We have a March 2014 cruise already booked with final payment due in December 2013. We want to book one of these promotional cruises in January 2014 and apply the FCC to our already booked March 2014 cruise which will already be paid in full when the January 2014 cruise is completed. If this were allowed Princess would have to refund us the money rather than provide the money as a FCC, something I'm not sure they would be willing to do but as of yet have not been able to get a clarification from Princess.

*Book a qualifying voyage by December 31, 2013 and 100% of the cruise fare will be available as a future cruise credit (FCC) that will be applicable to any 2013/2014 published future cruise that is 7 days or longer and can be combined with existing bookings that are not paid in full.

  4. We are looking to book one of these cruises out of FLL in January. We have a 7 day cruise already booked for next March with final payment due this December. This promotion states that already booked 2014 cruises are eligible as long as final payment hasn't yet been made. On the surface it sounds as though we would qualify for this FCC. However, after speaking with a Princess rep and their supervisor I was told we may not qualify because we would have already made final payment on our 2014 cruise before the FCC from the January cruise would be available to our account. Perhaps this promotion should be clarified: "...as long as final payment has not yet been received prior to completion of the qualifying cruise". I was advised to contact my TA to see if they could work something out with Princess. More to come...
