I didn't buy anything extra, nor do I gamble or drink, so it is beyond me why I received that email after only one cruise. I filled out my post cruise survey and told them what they did right and what they did wrong, IMO. So maybe I'll get lucky enough to get another offer, because alas, I can not use any of those. I am a nurse, and not much of a chance getting large chunks of time off, since nurses are leaving in droves.

When we cruised out of Civitavecchia, I made sure to get a hotel for the two days before near things to see within walking distance. I was lucky enough to find one overlooking the coliseum nearby, which was lit up at night. On our arrival day, we walked around Trajan's Market, keeping in mind that this was our first time here, so we just tried to see a little. The first night, we found a restaurant near our hotel that was amazing, and they just kept making vegetables for me, and seafood for him, and plying us with Limoncello! I don't drink much. Then after that, we discovered we had to get up 100 skinny steep steps to get back to our hotel. Imagine my horror. Anyway, it was a good way to spend a low-key evening. My husband has since passed away, but what wonderful memories I have. We walked around the next day, had wonderful breakfast at our hotel both days (once they found the oatmeal for me), and took a taxi to the port.

The pool and the tile beds are my fave.

I was not surprised by that, and also, many of these cruises are quite long. Unlike many Holland cruisers, I am not retired. It just so happened, one of the itineraries, I was already planning on. It's just that I have been on many other cruise lines, and never got an offer like that so soon. 😄

Since I just took my first cruise on Holland in December (12-nt Panama Canal), I am not sure if this is the norm, but two months after we got back, I got an email for free inside staterooms on particular sailings. After your first cruise with them? Unfortunately, I didn't see the email right away, so the itinerary I wanted was not available for that promotion. Just curious if the Holland aficionados know.
Thanks
Pam

I also just went there on an independent tour while on Holland. They were quite cool.

I am going on my first Holland cruise. I registered for the AARP credit after I booked it and I spoke to Holland the other day, and they said it was showing on my booking,

How are you getting a healthcare credit? I'm a working RN and I don't know about this. I thought MSC was the only one with healthcare credit. I appreciate any help.

I found a post at one point that gave what day and time new rewards are dropped on the different games. Can anyone help with this?

Thank you all. This certainly helps. We have gone to the spa talks on embarkation day, but never received a free day, on another line.

I will be going with my friends on the 12-day Panama Canal on Rotterdam. We love the thermal suite, but are trying to decide if it is worth the $299 when we are off the ship quite a bit. We are also wondering if they have day passes. Does anyone have experience with this?
-
Now I know there will be different opinions, but I ran in to a lady a couple of years ago while cruising solo, who said she used to work for MSC, and told me the prettiest ship to go on. My cruising friends would like to check out MSC to EUROPE. Any and all views appreciated, as I can't remember the name of the ship.
Thanks

I would love to sell mine, because I won't be able to use before they expire. Not trying to sell them here. Just commenting. 🙂

I was having the same issue today until I noticed it wanted my address after I put in my payment source. Then it worked.

Does anyone know of any good fishing charters at this port that they have used, not going with the masses from a cruise? We will be on Carnival Spirit departing July13.
Thanks in advance

Can anyone tell me if there is a particular favored direction on a Greek islands cruise? Like start and end port. Not sure which port we are starting out at yet. Probably Athens or Istanbul.
Thanks

Well I'm a COVID nurse, was out of work for 5 weeks in November +, had my antibodies checked last month and I still have them, got my second dose of Pfizer today, and me and my mask and hand sanitizer are ready! Whenever the world is . . .

When you book you give them your latitudes number and make sure you mention the certificate. They should arrange it for you, but make sure they apply both certificates if appropriate (I have seen a few people mention this not happening automatically).
My guess is that you won't be able to do it online with many travel agents.

You should see the certificates in your account and when you go to make a down payment or any payment, one of the options is to use the certificates. It listed both of mine and I was able to apply to my booking. All done on the NCL website.
My travel agent used 2, no problem.

Any of them. I'm not sure where I heard it. I am a Caribbean cruiser. I could tell you just about anything about those islands. I feel like it had something to do with rail and it was around $125. Not sure if that sheds any light on it.

I believe I read or heard somewhere that at one of the ports, there was either a bus or train tour that gave you a fairly good representation for a decent price. Did I dream this?

Since all drinks are free on the Sky Cuba cruises for everyone, I wonder if they will let you bring a 6 pack of cans of diet Coke on board. My wife can't stand diet Pepsi and likes one Coke a day. It seems that they would let us bring them on since it means they don't have to give my wife free drinks.
If this helps your wife at all, I too do not like Pepsi and only like Diet Coke. I just came off a week on the Getaway and found that the fountain soda actually wasn't as bad as Diet Pepsi usually is. It tasted more like Coke Zero to me, which I prefer to Diet Coke.

Popular date this Sunday (18th) on the Getaway. Not surprised they rejected my mini suite offer, but my balcony offer was "strong." Still got rejected on both.

For a Med cruise, you need a balcony in my opinion. We did a two-week one. It was amazing. Definitely go for it.
NCL App - deck plans?
in Norwegian Cruise Line

I was just on the Prima, and the decks never worked on the app. It opened one deck and never showed another. I went to Guest Services and the IT guy, but they couldn't help.
