  1. Grr! Okay so managed to upload most of information and even scan our passports but for the love of me it won’t let me upload a creditor debit card - tried multiple cards on both hubby and mine bookings with no joy! Anyone else had this issue. It keeps telling me to check details and retry!

  2. Hi all, looking toting and book on Wednesday. Want two (almost) back to back cruises, one on regal, then off a  night in a hotel in Southampton then onto sky - will this be allowed. Saw a rumour post today from p&o that they are stopping back to back. Will this be considered a back to back? Anyone able to help? Thank you so much in advance. Louise x

Well if you are off to Martinique in about 3 weeks its not a P&O cruise, but I would agree with jeanlyon, use US dollars but understand your change will be in local currency. Martinique really would be best with Euros but also use your plastic, its taken everywhere but take some photo id if you do. Just came back from three weeks in Barbados and we always had to produce photo ID if it was a duty free purchase. I use my drivers licence but passport would also be accepted.

    Have a great time!

Hi yes it’s a p&o cruise - we were due to call at st Vincent but the ports have been changed and we are now calling at Martinique instead.

  4. Hi peeps

off to the Caribbean in Three weeks and seeking advice on currency. Having reviewed the islands one takes euros (Martinique), 4 take EC dollars and 4 take US dollars. Do I really need to take three currencies or will US dollars be accepted everywhere?

    thanks as always

  5. Hi all, my knowledgeable shipmates

ive not been on a p&o cruise for many years having moved over to Princess cruises. I am however travelling in January to the Caribbean on Britannia and have a couple of questions

    - where if anywhere can I find who will be guest speaker / entertainers on our cruise (17th Jan 2020)

    - can anyone provide a rundown of the daily activities to be expected eg watercolour classes, ukulele lessons etc

    - flying into Barbados do we collect our luggage or is it automatically transferred to ship?

sure I’ll think of a few more! Lol

  6. Hi I was completing my guest information today on the cruise personalised and noticed it gave me the choice to either be charged in dollars or my home currency of pound sterling. What’s the best way to do this so I am better off. I have no idea! Thanks in advance for your help.

  7. We leave from Southampton next week and have five (yes five!!!) packed suitcases!! The luxury of shoes, matching handbags, 2 different type of coat / waterproof jacket (we're doing the British Isles), 2 formal frocks and an outfit for every day and evening. Along with make up, hair stuff etc etc we're thoroughly spoilt to be spending 12 glorious days leaving from our home port and travelling around our beautiful country.

Just feel sorry for the poor guys that have to move my luggage!!!

  8. The treasure hunt is similar to a scavenger hunt. You pick up a card and go to the various venues around the ship getting a stamp. They have a drawing for prizes such as a free massage or maybe a free trip to the sanctuary. It's a great way to find your way around the ship and find out all the different things that they offer.

    Thanks Hunky :)

  9. If held, the hosted sail away party will be around the Lido Pool and the deck above. There will be dancing, live music, some prizes, probably the drawings for the "treasure hunt". It is the action place. I always enjoy the sail away, even after so many cruises.

Some passengers wish to avoid the hosted party and head to the Outrigger Bar which a quieter area.

May be a silly question but what's the 'treasure hunt'

  10. Hi Car805.

I'm also on the June 25th sailing. Not a solo passenger, I'll be bringing my mum with me. But to reiterate what KruzPrincess says there's an active roll call there with over 70 members so far. Everyone on the board is friendly do sure you'll find some others to tie in with on there.

See you in four weeks! Louise
