You should also notify your bank if you are going to use your debit card while you are travelling.

We were in Mexico a couple of years ago & could not get money out of an ATM with my card - luckily my DH's card worked!

Is the drink menu the same for all ships & intineraries?

We buy an annual policy attached to one of our credit cards, which includes medical, cancellation, interruption etc. If the cost of the trip exceeds the limit provided by the policy for cancellation & interruption we can top up for a small amount.

Has been a HUGE cost saver for us.

We have had the airlines crack one of our hardsided pieces of luggage at least every 2 to 3 trips - the most recent time was on the first leg of a trip to India and we had to gorilla tape it together for the rest of the trip!! So I have given up on the hardsided & gone to featherweight softsided TravelPro. Hope we have better luck with this one!
