  1. My husband and I will be on Independence of the Seas in three weeks. We have an early dining time and I would love to have a table for just the two of us. We love sailing with others, we just need this time to ourselves. Life has thrown us a few curves and we need a a time to reflect and catch our breath. Is there a way to request this in advance? Thank for your help.

Pretty sure you can ask for, and get, Ice twice a day. They're cutting back on the 2X FULL service visits, NOT abandoning us entirely. You'll never get anything you want without asking 🙂

We chose evening, since we're always out from a bit before dinner, through dinner, and usually something after dinner, so there's plenty of time for them to do their thing while we're out. Breakfast doesn't (usually) take long enough since we usually come back to the room to take morning meds, etc and they seem to always want to come while we're there.

    Roll with it. It's a VACATION 🙂

Do you get 2X Daily "maid" service at home? I sure don't.

Off topic, but my all time favorite performer in the Schooner Bar is David Curtis. A great musician, very entertaining and whenever he plays the Schooner bar, the room is always packed. He used to be on RCCL fairly often, but I haven't heard if he's come back after the re-start. And, he definitely does requests.

    David is the best!

  4. Hello. I have a question regarding the kids sail free promotion. We booked our two grandchildren with us on a cruise next year using the kids sail free promo. We were told because of that promo the balcony discount for diamond plus is not allowed. True? I was on hold so long to ask I gave up and came here instead.😀

    Thank you!

  5. Hello all,

I am looking at the cruise planner for Labadee. Could someone explain the difference between a beach bungalow and a Beach Cabana at Nellies Beach. That is how it reads in the brochure. I see the bungalow has a curtain for one of the walls. Not a deal breaker. Is it location?

    Thank you for any insight.

  6. Hello,

Sadly my brother-in-law passed away before ever taking his first cruise. I remember reading somewhere that Royal had allowed ashes to be scattered at sea.

I do know you must you a waterproof urn for this to happen. I believe I read that the ship allowed a small place to gather quietly with friends while the urn was placed in the water.

Does anyone have information about this or could tell me who I need to contact ?

We will be on the Qasis on September 9th.

    Thank you,

    Christine

  7. Hello all,

We are a group of 6 adults, a three year old and a baby. We are flying into Orlando on Saturday for an Oasis cruise the next day.

What do you think we be the best way to get to a hotel? We will probably have 8-9 pieces of luggage and two car seats.

Secondly, we need a hotel for one night. We are arriving after 8 at night on Saturday, so we don't need any amenities such as a pool, ect. Just a place to sleep. But a nice place😀.

Thanks for any advice you might have,

    Christine

  8. Hello. I am looking for a little information. We were on the Navigator in March and as Diamond Plus we received a notice in our cabin of all the benefits we were given. One of these was a 30% off the drink package.

Does anyone know if this is fleetwide? Will be sailing on the Oasis in September. TIA

    Christine
