  1. wanted to go here.Cab driver was taking us to another coconut beach with no hotel.I found out in time and other people on bus taxi were going to Valley Church Beach and Nest Bar,so decided to go to VCB and it was beautiful, not crowded on the day we went this month. Will go to Coconut Beach next time, but loved VCB.Not crowded, free wifi,beer,$3.00,conch fritters, really good.:)

  2. Depends on sea days or port days whether it is worth it or not.I might have 8 or10 beers and 2 tropical mixed drinks on a sea day,(worth it)while on a port day maybe 2 beer,1 mixed drink,(not worth it) only on vacation. If I visit an all inclusive island,I probably have up to 20 beer from 10 am till 10 pm(then it's worth it)if i'm with a bunch of men fooling around and acting up like a 20 year old.At home,I have beer in the garage that is still there from Christmas not open.So it depends on a lot of factors. If they had this then Princess may get like Carnival or an island all inclusive.Might not be a good idea!!!:D

  3. Waste of time. You have to tender to a sand spit. Next time we will stay on the ship. I can enjoy my food better when it doesn't have sand in it. This is just my opinion.

When we were there, we rented a paddle kayak thingy. The wind was so strong, it just blew us sideways, no matter how hard we paddled. Couldn't wait to leave.

I wonder why u r in the carribbean then.It is mainly beaches, sun and sand.Perhaps a more refined mediterranean cruise would be better?IMHO:confused:

  4. My DH never made it on a cruise. He died 3 years ago after only 4 months of cancer and after 37 years of marriage. I also see patients where I work no older than me who will never cruise and are in bad shape. I am facing a "major" birthday this year and made the decision to take a cruise to Europe by myself. I wish my husband were here to go too but I plan to have a good time anyway. I have a picture of him in front of Stonehenge before we were married. I plan to have my picture taken there too, in front of the very same stone. Too sentimental I guess.:o Anyway, go for it everyone !

I know how you feel.I was married for 29 years.I found out 18 years ago i had an eye disease where someday i will go blind.I wanted to see the world and have been doing my best to do that.We travelled and had many great memories. My DW got a rare cancer 4 years ago and only lasted 12 weeks and died. I met another woman a year after and we have been married almost 3 years and we watch old travel videos together and i again have the most wonderful life i could ever ask for.My wife's urn and photo is in our livingroom smiling over the both of us.:)
