Im booked on the Oasis in September 2018, This is my first cruise on Royal and really looking forward to it. I booked this cruise online on royal's website like I have always have done before with Carnival. And for the second time the promos drop off booking and my cruise rate goes way up. Is this normal? What the heck? Twice this has happened and I haven't even been booked two months yet. I haven't called yet for the second time but the first time took them nearly 20 minutes on the phone to fix it. Only reason I noticed this time is I got an email saying I owed money on my cruise planner because once the promos dropped off it took my onboard credit with it. Im hoping I dont have do this every month!!!

I booked over 200 days out and it was sold out. Some opened up the other day about 50 days out and I snagged one. Just gotta keep checking.

The Citi program works just like Verizon. Use points to get 10 percent off. They usually have 100 and 500 dollar gift cards.

If you have a Citi credit card they have some on their rewards site.

I am cruising on the Liberty next month. I "cashed" in some points from my carnival mastercard and received 200 bucks worth of OBC. I also have 150 bucks worth of price drops from booking early saver which I was approved for. I see on my cruise documents my 200 OBC from my carnival card but I do not see the 150 bucks anywhere. The 150 was approved bout three weeks ago. So is this reason for alarm?

I am sailing on the liberty in june. FTTF was sold out when i booked as well. I just kept checking everday and one spot opened up a couple of weeks ago. It just depends if anyone cancels or there are less platinum booked. My advice is just keep checking.

Thanks for the reply. You would think they would fix it. I am the type that rolls with the flow but I do have to say this doesn't make the best first impression with a new customer.
