I applied my military discount after i booked direct with P&O and paid the disposit. You can only apply it to select fares and not saver fares. It does say at time of booking but if you book via the website there is no way to apply it. So i emailed them and they applied it for me. 👍

If you have a DDS card that works too

    Hello Wise Cunard Voyagers,

Does anyone else find the Cunard website frustrating?

I am in Australia and have tried several times unsuccessfully to pay my outstanding balance.

via the website. My details appear to be accepted; the page then says "please wait while your payment is processing..."

Then an error message comes up. Just says try again, or "try again later, there may be a technical issue".

What other option is there to pay my balance?

The only phone number I can find seems to be in either USA or UK.

Do they not want me to pay the balance?

Next time I will use a travel agent.

    Thanks in anticipation

I had that problem yesterday trying to check in on my forthcoming cruise. Tried again this morning and had no problem

  3. In the good old days when I was a working man and before the the build up of the Mayflower and surrounding area, there used to be a lovely little cafe where all the lorries used park before loading fruit from the terminals next to The Mayflower. The Marking are still on those terminals. It was also an easy walk to the dock gates and into the town as you didn't have to go via the main road.

    Ah happy memories

    Hello Guys

We have cruised once with P&O back in 2014 with Oceana, now we are going with Ventura in December (Canary Islands from Southampton).

Question 1: How is the selection of wines in the Drink package? Many wines or only a few?

Question 2: Do we have to make a reservation for the Theater/Shows?

Question: 3 How is the Internet (Ultimate) on Ventura? Is it worth the money?

Question: 4 What is your opinion on the Ventura, Do you like her?

    TIA!

    Best regards

from Krydstosser (Means Cruise maniac) 😂

(Do not mind my spelling, I am from Denmark)

Just got off the Ventura on Sat 29/03/2023.

Question 1. Very poor selection and not a lot to choose from on the cheaper list . Dearer one, not much better.

Question 2.  No need to book.

Question 3. Internet Package not worth the money.

Question 4. Terrible , Food tasteless with little choice. short of staff , hence long queues and long waits for drinks.

Like you my last PO Cruise was in 2013 and I said then never again.but I give them another go last week and this time I mean it . Never Never P&O AGAIN

So, comment is out of context, but now thinking with X doing the move up program that it pretty much alleviates the chances of just a normal upgrade? Has anyone had an upgrade in the past without having to bid on it?

I was upgraded to Aqua in May on the Celebrity Beyond .Didn’t ask for it . Just arrived at the ship and on booking in was told of the change

Thank you, everybody. As I said, we shall enter through Dock Gate 20, as Cunard suggest, and anyway, it is far more convenient for anyone coming down the M271, as you miss out a lot of Southampton traffic. We usually use that route, so it's not a problem. Can someone just assure me there is a prominent sign for the testing station itself? Thanks again.

No sign till you get there .Then sign on the road saying turn right into it . Attendants on the road to Marshall you in . You cannot miss it

Can someone who has used the Covid testing centre at the Mayflower Terminal Southampton explain precisely where to find it. Cunard say use Dock Gate 20 and West Bay Road . Fine, then what? Is it well sign posted?

If you are travelling from Bournemouth, then Gate 20 is the best. Its easy, Through the gate, turn left and follow the main road. A few twists and turns , roundabouts but you can't go wrong.

You will see it on the right

Yeah I thought I would just ask I am pleased I did. Hotel room was £225 on flexi booking just incase the cruise got cancelled we could cancel room. Parking at hotel is £72 for 12 nights so £297 in total. Holiday Inn was £150 and £140 for CPS total £290. Coach was £266 return plus £50 in taxi fares to coach and home total £316. So I decided on the harbour hotel as it worked out the best deal. I think the price puts people off but with the parking it's actually a great deal and a better hotel too 😁

Can you not fly from Newcastle anymore. Long Drive or Coach journey

  9. Still the problem when filling in the form of the Reference Number .To get that you have to have booked a 2 day LFT which you pay for but by the time of my cruise ,11-15 Feb, no longer need.New forms I'm told won't be available till later in the month

  10. I am having the same worry. Just tried the advice code 0000. doesn't work.

I phoned up Cunard but got no joy.  First she said the cruise was before the ending of restriction.

I replied that restrictions end at 0400 am and we did not even board before then.

Then she said fill it in on board, I said I didn't want to pay for the internet just for that.

Now the best one - Find somewhere in Hamburg with free  wi fi

She then told me help would be available on board if required.

First time on Cunard but with Customer Services like that, it will be my last

  11. Looking to book for the first time with Cunard and was looking at the drinks package. I’ve heard to buy say a glass of wine it will cost about £11 so therefore a package is a must.

Could anyone please confirm that is correct. £11 seems a bit much for one glass of wine.

    Thanks a lot

  12. I know you can’t smoke in your stateroom or balcony, but can you vape. Has anyone tried it and been caught.

I ask this because my partner Vapes and she is says she used to vape on Princess.

This will be our first time on Celebrity and she now wants to cancel even though we would loose the full cost of the cruise as it is only three weeks away.

  13. Thank You Sarah  For your Reply.

I have been on The Caribbean , Emerald and Ruby Princess and also the Diamond years ago before it was refurbished and they were free then. I have since been on the Majestic Princess but had to pay for that. I just thought that as the  Diamond Princees has not got a Japanese Sauna as well that they are now pay for
